My family goes back a long time there also. My grandfather and my father were fishermen there. Our last name is Joiner. Us kids grew up on the water and our father took the haul of fish down to Rockhall fisheries.

that opening lady describing how her family has lived on the eastern neck peninsula since the 1600's is interesting, some of the first europeans in america, something has kept her family attached to Kent County

There is so much history in Rock Hall & especially Eastern Neck Island. My family goes back to the same time periods and also owned farms on the Island. Loved hearing the stories and history. Just wish I had recorded/documented it for future generations.

... I first went to Rock Hall in 1971 ... but ... my Dad was there in 1959-60 as a district service adviser for Studebaker at the Dealership on Main St in Rock Hall ... I grew up at the Y&W Marina on the Haven ...
