Yes wine region is pretty warm compared to other parts of Georgia. I'm going to be there next month! P.S People in this region are very emotional like Italians, the woman was complaining at the driver with something and the driver was upset because the woman has raised voice over him and explaining her smth 😄

Actually, there are some traditional, naturally sweet wines too. for example, Khvanchkara from region Racha.

The tunnel in Winery Khareba had been a nuclear shelter built during the Cold War, later was converter as winery due to its ideal and proper temperature and humidity throughout the year

Not sure if you had an opportunity to visit North-Western Part of Georgia. Racha and Svaneti are different part of the world.

nothing medieval about it. but primitive communism that endured into the modern era/the 19th century like in the northern caucasus. medieval georgia, that is after the demise of rome, was highly feudal and christian. khevsureti, tusheti weren't event christian until recently but syncretic/pagan like the north caucasus. these are small bits of georgia that speak georgian but are very north caucasian. their towers are clan towers not lords' castles. if you want to see medieval feudal castles in georgia (almost none of them are cared after and promoted, they don't belong to respective families anymore. they belong to noone) samtskhe-javakheti has most of them

They don't like silly tourists??? No country does.

A couple of years ago, a bunch of British tourists were in New Zealand generally making themselves very unpopular and behaving like complete arseholes until they finally fucked off home. Now they're the subject of an opera. So, while we in NZ don't like dickish tourists any more than any other country does, we can at least find a way to make them useful.

hello, you wrote that Georgia is better than Italy, certainly Georgia is very beautiful but I recommend you to visit Italy before making certain statements 😉

For authenticity and experiencing oldest ancient culture and how traditionally things were made that are carried till this day , visiting Georgia is much better. But if you want art, museums, Italian food, bunch of tourists around you and instagram posts that you’re in Italy, than yeah Italy is your go to place.

@@MikeLandwolf Food is better in Georgia anyway, and thats not a surprise, wine doesn't even need to be mentioned. I love Italy though.

Yes, Italy is beautiful, but nature is different in Georgia.

@ 0:17 The world knows Stalin was born in Georgia. That's all they know about Georgia. We have better Georgians than a dectator. Can you think of Georgians like Alexander Kartvelishvili, Michael Grigolashvili, George Matchabeli, George Balanchivadze, Katie Melua, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, etc.
