After following her for this syrup season, I’m impressed. Smart, very fit (look at those biceps), articulate, poised, hard working, outdoor loving, family oriented….all wrapped in a drop dead gorgeous wrapping. As I enter my 7th decade, I’m extremely pleased and reassured to see young (a relative concept I know) people like her continue in agriculture, keeping the family farm alive.

I totally agree with Richard's post. I'm 2 years short of my 8th decade and still going strong. I love maple syrup, especially if its bought directly from the farmer. I bought some from a New Hampshire maple farmer and bottler from their mom and pop business. Much better than you get from the big super markets. Keep posting! Love your content.

Be careful in the woods Nikki. I was traveling in western NY for my job in 1991. I had my 11 year old son with me that trip, because he was going to do a state report for 5th grade. I was driving through Letchworth State Park on Park road, Just about a mile south of the Mt Morris dam, I passed what looked like a camouflage hat in the road, but I was pretty sure it was something else. I turned around and went back. I pulled up beside it and it was a 4-5 foot Timber Rattler. Just as my son was looking out at the snake, a motorcyclist came along and ran right over it and killed it. My son cried for the snake. It died. I loved when MSU came out to check out your Maple syrup operation. I grew up 1/4 mile from campus. Went to school there and still live within 2 miles of campus. Parents were grads there. 1 sister, 1 brother, myself and 2 sons all grads from MSU. Daughter had to be different. She went to that other Big Ten school to the southeast of here by 60 miles. You make great videos. I drove by the farm I bet 5 times a year from 1983 to 2000. Love that countryside. Hated that hill going east outside of Warsaw in the winter.
