KW-ro5ow I know right. The long lost relative you're talking about is Joel's mum Marie who will be played by Rita Simons who previously played Roxy Mitchell in EastEnders from 2007 to 2017. Many fans thought she was going to be a recast for Mandy as her role on the show hadn't been confirmed for some time but now it HAS been confirmed that she will play Joel's mum. Id still like them to bring back Mandy despite Sarah Jayne Dunn's sacking over only fans.

I'm in a similar situation like Cleo. I'm fawning after my best friend, who knows I want to be with him. But he hasn't opened up to how he really feels, apart from the fact that he doesn't think he could love anyone else the way he loved his ex ever again. Because she used and abused him mentally. And I've got another guy who came to see me last night and he really likes me, but I'm unsure at the minute because I've got all these feelings for my best friend. So, I don't know what to do. What hurts the most is that my best friend knows I want to be with him and he knows this but he hasn't reciprocated about his true feelings. Like, he either wants to be with me or he doesn't. I feel kinda strung along. Any advice???
Joel has always been a flake when it comes to Cleo, what really is so damn special about Cleo Mcqueen that he just dumps his girlfriends/fiancé’s just to go back to her? Cleo is manipulative she knew what she was doing, but some viewers and the writers treat her like this victim and use her past as a way to get away with things and they use that as an excuse.
She is no better she used him too and she aborted his baby. Leela can give him what he really wants, Cleo missed her chance 🤷♀️
@@keeperofthe7keys1987 100% agree, Leela can give Joel what Cleo can’t stability and a child that she actually wants with him, Cleo is so annoying she comes in between any relationship that Joel has and messes with his head and he deserves better just wish Joel could see that

@aph1976 He did know about her being Joel's ex. Leela & especially Cleo ought to be wondering why Abe wasn't upset & worried about Joel while he was in hospital fighting for his life. I'm convinced he ran him over.

Joel really is a selfish person and has a long history of leading women on then dumping them for someone else. Not a big fan of Cleo neither, she's a big child and always comes in between other people's relationships then throws a tantrum when she doesn't get what she wants.

@@charlottelouise1409 well then that's what I hate about what Brian Kirkwood done to Hollyoaks after 2012. Just constant gangster stories, then constant serial killers, then constant manipulators. I remember the old fans of Hollyoaks one by one stopped watching it after 2012. Now it's constant deaths and stalkers and no one ever stays happy. Every character will constantly suffer. No one will find happiness
