Well, it does increase the density (vs hand pressing), which increases the detonation velocity and general performance. With ETN though, the best performance is in melt cast state. So basically, if you don't need something that can be hand molded, best to melt cast it.

Probably Anfo or oxy/acetylene gas or HHO gives the loudest bang and biggest shockwave

Melt casting etn is a bit nerve-racking but when it goes boom and you got a perfect hole in a 2inch steel plate you wonder why ETN hasnt made its way into the military field
