Forgot Password - How to Unlock OnePlus 10T, 10 Pro, Nord 2T etc

Really bad advice. This is a good method for unlocking your device but you cannot restore your phone backup unless you know the old screenlock password/code .... if the reason for resetting the phone to factory state is because you forgot the password you are screwed. If you try to restore backup and get the password wrong 10 times the backed up phone is deleted from google....
I wish that I had ignored this advice (and many others like it) and tried one of the software options (costing around $30/year) to try and remove the screenlock.

Does it work on the Nord 3? I did a bad job setting up my phone and can't remember the pattern I set. It won't allow me to turn off the phone to try the method in your video.

Just let the battery die, charge the phone without switching it on and then follow the steps
