Hi Chris, Very cool build. I like mid century i’m a furniture builder in Fredericksburg, Virginia, I’m looking forward to watching your newest video. Looking forward to following along buddy. Keep up the great work!! 😎👊
Thanks so much for the feedback, and for watching! Yeah I’m really excited for the Rhodes keyboard video, still working on that edit (there are a lot of details and I want to keep it concise and understandable without skipping anything) so I’ll probably have one other build video up before the piano edits are done. But it’s getting there!
That looks good. What did you do to the plywood that darkened the edge when you were gluing the veneer on? It would have been nice to see it with the equipment installed.
Yeah I should’ve mentioned that detail, the darkened areas were pre-oiled, I do that before edge banding if there is any glue squeeze out/dripping. Sometimes with open grained woods like Walnut the glue will sit into the pores, and it may look cleaned up until the oil/finish is applied which can be a headache. The the pre-oiling along the edge there allows the wood to visually already be darkened, and it also prevents the glue from really adhering so the clean up ends up being much easier. A little sanding, or scraping with a razor and it’s usually all removed. And then I do a full coat of oil on the piece and it all blends in. As for the gear, I would’ve liked to see it with equipment in it too! Haha, this was built for a client so it got packed up and sent out. I don’t have the 30u of gear to have installed in there.
Not only is the woodworking beautiful, but the product photography on the website is equally amazing.
Thanks so much for the kind words, and for checking out the build!
The veneer was a nice touch 👍🏽
Looks absolutely amazing great job
Thanks for watching, and for the compliment!
So good!

@@Munstre looking forward to it! I want to make a custom keyboard stand for my KingKorg and Moog Sub 37.
Very cool! That would be an interesting stacked setup, and there aren’t many nicer looking synths than those Sub37s so sounds like a great project!
@@Munstre I'll post it if it turns out good! Or ever even actually happens, lol.
I love it!!
Great Design and craftsmanship
Thanks for watching!
Wow! So cool! :) Congrats on the job!
RUclips knows what i like; woodworking/furniture making and audio gear 😅

I figured it was to keep the glue from causing problems later on. thanks.
Do you do these smaller ? (1 or 2 rows of racks instead of 3)
The brass "M" distracts the beauty of the structure.
Great piece of furniture. But please consider some different music on your videos. the disonant music really distracted me during the whole video.
Thanks for the feedback! This is my first “long form” video so that’ll be helpful going forward
@@MunstreI was actually gonna complement you on your choice of keyboard music. To each their own!
Agreed, I like the music it's relaxing but not distracting. Little bit of Boards of Canada vibes.
Dude this music is awesome, idk what you're on but it slaps
I liked the music, I didn’t find it distracting at all
