Jeff was an amazing instrument monster !! Not just guitar but Horn and I think the keys too. Just a kick ass musician !! T/Y Jeff for sharing your talents bro. T/Y for posting this song in honor !!
He used to play in our neighbourhood, downtown Toronto. He didn't appear on keyboards, but he did sit in with Steven C. & The Red Rockets on drums. If you want to hear his trumpet playing, look for the Jazz Wizards.
@@thereforeayam Thank you .... I will. He played drums ? That must have been sick as hell (awesome). Prince, Stevie Wonder & The Doobie Brothers are Instrument Monsters as well. Lotta good ones out there.
this guy it's anytime anywhere. he improvise all the time. anytime and anywhere. and very good fluidity, decontracted. not for nothing Ritchier Blackmore, BB king and Stevie Ray say it's one of the best
had a chance and passed up...never got to see him at all...could kick myself in the ass!!! but...was fortunate enough to see the legendary BB King!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎
Jeff Healey is an amazing guitarist, blind since a toddler, taught himself how tow to play guitar in a a weird laptop kind of way. - check out the movie Road House, (Beth hates it)
peoples' minds are blown by the end of this song, which explains the lack of comments.. Jeff is so good its like a never-ending absence of disapointment lol
if this is your first taste of Jeff Healy, then i reccomend " As The Years Go Passing By " " See The Light " Blue Jean Blues" this is but a few of great Healy tunes
@7861josh If you are getting into slow blues then I recommend you hear Buddy Guy's "Remberin' Stevie", Eric Clapton's early "Have You Heard", Albert Collins' "If Trouble were Money", Jeff Beck's "'Cause we've ended as Lovers", Jimmy Thackery's "Solid Ice" Tinsley Ellis' "A Winner Never Quits", Jazz is Dead's "Morning Dew" & that should get you going...and an oddball LOL 3 guitar instrumental from Charlie Daniels Band "Sidewinder". I got more but no more space to list. Enjoy!
@7861josh I slipped rally what is a jazz/rock instrumental in on you with that CDB one, but is's so unusual for the grizzly fiddle player that it's worth having heard and knowing about. Another one that fits into this category but I'm sure you will like is The Dereck Trucks Band instrumental "Kickin' Back". He's playing with Jazz is Dead guitar virtuoso Jimmy Herring and you might like Jimmy's latest instrumental "Lifeboat Serenade". Later!
@7861josh One more came to my mind Josh - You might like '"Parisienne Walkways" by Gary Moore. I could go on and on. Hope you like some of the ones I listed for you.
Nagyon tetszett ez a dal! Örülök hogy hallottam. Jó voltál gitározni basszusgitáron R.I.P.Jeff Healey
Jeff was a gift to us all ❤️

It’s Gary Moore and mr. Jeff Healey in my number 1 spot. No one can make guitars scream the way they do.
Outstanding blues. It has soul.
One of the better tunes by Jeff; a perfect showcase of all his workmanships

Blue Jeans Blues is from ZZ Top but Jeff did a great cover of it. He's a great singer though and also great guitar player!
Un grande talento !!!
Que du bonheur ...
merci pour le partage

B.B. King cannot hold a candle to it.
Love Jeff, but you're wrong. Jeff may be more of a virtuoso, but the amount of sheer emotion BB King gets across with his playing is unparalleled.

B.B King's version is excellent. I love B.B King, but I like this one better. More instrumentation.
