Thanks for the videos you post. I don't surf well and the waves impress me easily. But this sport calms my mind, makes me feel alive and strong! Watching your videos helps me to understand what really happens, to understand more how to do the maneuver, to get ideas of body/hands and feet position to improve and above all it helps me to see that nothing is wrong and that it's mostly my fears that hold me back. 😊 Thank you very much for recording, editing and sharing them always with these touches of humor that are so cool! 🎉
Legend thanks Marion! I know what you mean about fears mate. They often hold us back from things we can probably accomplish. Start in small waves, it’s pretty straightforward and if you fall in it’s only water!
Nice tip re booties, great video. Re "Hawaiian Carry", I lave the extension on the board, push extension top into front foot strap (usually gets in there) and then the extension becomes a beauty handle to carry board. 😊
Who said that long videos are boring? When it's Paul Van Bellen behind the camera, and he is riding Australian waves with friends, an amazing video comes out for sure!
That style of video is great to watch. Such good waves! We don't have conditions like that where I am but watching this has me craving a good session anyway. Nice tips as well!
Thanks for including the " crashes", water starts, having the "real" ocean sounds of windsurfing, and mixing it up with "waiting around" footage. Nice touch with commentary about quintessential Australian flies and camping remotely when temperatures are in high 30's. At the 25'50" mark, is that a vehicle bogged in the sand above the beach😮 JP Adelaide
That Kite guy was the total twin of my local Kite guy... Glad he had the Aus. accent so I could tell he wasn't. The sailing clips were the definition of a good time. Canada has thawed out so my season starts this week!
Great stuff Paul!! Looks like an awesome spot, nice long waves!! Lots of turns!! I'm not sure which is worse, Sand, coral reefs and flies, or what we have here in the Taranaki cold and ROCKS, big ones sticking up like tombstones which you dont see until you're in your bottom turn......Definitely want to get to Western Australia to sample some of these spots...
Great job again Paul . That looks like an amazing place for wave sailing. Don’t worry about that guy calling you a sellout - you can’t go wrong with Ezzy 😂
Great stuff as always Paul. This place for me has always looked like a smaller version of Cloud Break. Don’t think Ben P would be to happy thou seeing you doing Tip & Tricks😂
Great video!! I see that you sign up for the talks/sailing at the same time as our friend Ben. I really enjoyed watching it. Be carefull with mosquitos!!🫣🦟🦟
Thanks for sharing another great one... it's like 3rd time I was out on the water this year. Good to see in Oz still allowed to camp n' sleep on the beach with no hassle. Do that anywhere in Europe and you're part of the organised crime 😂
Very tidy edit Paul. Bloody awesome conditions and some great sailing from you and your mate Sammy. He’s got some sick turns in there. Had to laugh at 3 mins 46 seconds where Sammy farts when you’re making dinner. 😂 Cheers. Paul D 🤙💥
Another great footage! Perfect in all aspects! Thanx for sharing your unique windsurfing- experiences! All the best, especially strong wind and high waves! 🤙
Nice video ! You're right about the kite, he should not turn in front of the swell that you where following from outside. Already had the same situation many time with kites... it's very annoying when there is plenty of kites doing that, like in Mauritius for example...
Legend PVB! Love that you straightened out for the surfer - there's always another wave. And Sammy rips, though you need to teach him to fly the drone!
Nice video. Makes me feel like I am there. What an epic spot, blue water, sailing in your shorty looks very good. Thanks for sharing how to carry one's gear. Hang Loose
Hey fish! I use gaffer tape. You can use it about 10-15 times before it loses its sticky ability. You buy rolls of it cheap at your local hardware store.
Great video. Reminded me in London of why i love that spot. Why do you think WA windsurfers hide the location of the spots? Hardly anyone windsufers in WA and it has a tiny population. Do you think you will be swamped with people when for most people on europe it takes 24 hours to get to this spot.
@@windsurfer I'm happy to comply. Have you ever been to the Desert location and thought that there were too many windsurfers? I usually wish there were a few more.
Another epic wind trip from my favorite windsurfer from down under, Paul van Bellen. Looks like the flies found you before you found the Easter eggs. What were the guys in that small skiff smoking before they went out? Lol Sammy Dillon has to be my lost brother in Oz. I always have a brew in hand waiting for the wind/waves to fill in. In our area that tends to be a long wait with many empty cans. Oooh Yeaaaah! Remember, Paul, no need to apologize to the bottom feeders we call kiters. Windsurfer ALWAYS trumps kiter on the takeoff point. Keep'em coming Paul, us yanks love your videos. Please include Sammy if ya can, he is quite entertaining.
What a fricken life. 💯 man Paul you make it look so fun. The Kiter is an asshole for doing that. Whether you’re kitesurfing windsurfing learn the fucking lineup. Good thing he apologized.
Had a fun trip chasing down a swell that came up the other weekend. Apologies on the sound quality, it was filmed on my iPhone & GoPro.
Thanks for the videos you post.

Sammy does that I should give it a go! Cheers!
thanks for showing us new spots! Your friend has some real turns! My gawd what a pleasure to watch him
Such a good spot!!! ..nice video
Enjoyed every second of this! Mr. Kiter actually a decent bloke - what we like to see!
Another great video Paul! keep 'em coming and thx for sharing!
Very familiar, everything still looks the same 20 years on. Including putting your feet up on the sail when getting washed over the reef.
Best windsurf video coverage on RUclips. Period
Probably the best 'up north' wave sailing video out there to give an idea of what to expect at that place. Sammy makes the it look too easy!
Great tip on the derigging at the end.
As always amazing footage.
SOOOO COOOOOL - Keep it up PVB

Grandes imagenes. Gracias Paul. Navegamos un rato con ustedes. Lindo lugar.
So good. Loved the calm during the crash with the waves coming in at 12:30. Beautiful monotone shot at 19:55.
Best ever windsurfing video I've watched. I noticed sand at the beach looks reddish. Our beach in NZ looks more blackish.
great spot, good crew. love it
I like your editing, It's like we are sailing for real.
I am planning to go see this coast next summer.
Hope we can meet somehow 🙂
Cool! See you in Geraldton!
Real life images of windsurfers, these are the best😜💪🤙👊

Beautifully made vid. A slice of the good life. With flies

Nice to watch you having fun Paul!! Beautiful surfing and landscape!!
Awesome video pal👍

What an epic place.... Can't wait to sail there.
Great footage Paul
Yeah mate let’s do a trip!
Here from California! Thanks for sharing, I felt like I was out there with you! Great video, sub'd!
Thanks for the sub!

Genius indeed. And, the extra padding is a welcome respite for the board's deck
Absolutely loving this location and the videos, please keep them coming

Sounds nasty mate.... wouldn't be ideal not seeing a boulder until you're bottom turning into it haha

PVB, POV. Great little video of real world windsurfing.
I'm also surprised how good the sound is from the GoPro.
Cheers Billy! The GoPro has a foam cover on it called a 'WindSlayer' which helps in cutting out wind noise.
Great upload Paul thanks! Love to dream about going there one day 😎😍🤙🏻💙👍🏻
🤩 thanks for sharing.
Cool vid Paul, thanks. Keep on sending
Brilliant video good tips. Quality content. Dream conditions. PVB smashing it bro
Nice swell, nice footage, nice riding - nice video
Love it! especially that guy you had talk in between and at the end. He should get an Oscar:)
😄👍

Come visit mate!
Love the commentary and the interstitial soul selling.

Hi Paul, can you tell me how you mount the gopro on your surfhat?
Use a GoPro head strap, put surf hat over that with a hole in it, attach GoPro, do up surf strap.
I miss that spot every day!
You wouldn’t have missed the flies this time, was brutal ha
nice video Paul!
Yew Leo!

Mauritius sounds like a bit of a battleground with kites!
@@windsurfer Battleground is the correct word. And if you add wingfoils, it's just a nightmare...

RUclips's bitrate compression makes shots like these 10:20 a bit funky.
Nice conditions nontheless
Hi Paul.
What type of tape do you use on your mast joint? It looks like you re-use it for the next session? How does it stick wet?

do you mind share the location? curious to know
NW Western Australia
What late swell in gnaraloo ??? That's the desert ?
What’s the question?
Spartaco is still there?
Haha

It doesn’t take much to make some spots crowded so locals keep things low key
@@windsurfer I'm happy to comply. Have you ever been to the Desert location and thought that there were too many windsurfers? I usually wish there were a few more.
@@Nick.Colemann Yup, this spot has been busy before.
I hope those waters are shark infested, because otherwise it'd be too unfair that you have so many great spots like that in Australia...🤤
