Keith and his friends randomly playing classical music and then speeding off in a minivan is probably the most chaotic good thing I’ve never heard. 😂😂
We NEED a collab with Eugene's mom and Keith, a piano and French horn duo 😂
Yessss!!!!
That's an awesome idea!
Ned talking about being a mathlete made me feel SEEN. Being a girl of color and showing these boys out was one of the best feelings/memories of high school..
whatta baddie
I was always the only girl on my team and one of like 15 in the room it was awesome
Me too. I only played an instrument for a year in grade school, but I was a mathlete in high school!
Me too. I’m 46 now and intensely remember being on a stage in front of a school where I was bullied and being cheered for getting math questions correctly. So weird.
FUCK YES get it!! That's so good :)
please do try guys try riding horses!!! also THE GUM ON NEDS SHOE HAHA
Oh that ones good
Yesssss That would be a fun video!!!
Keith and Eugene did on Squad Wars.
Idk how this hadn't happened yes
@@liriodendronlasianthus send me a link!!
as a music teacher and marching band instructor, this episode was made for me. also, would love to see Try Guys Try Marching Band. I feel like Eugene would really dig spinning rifle in color guard.
Yes!!!! Fellow music teacher here. I 100% support this idea!
I teach guard and YES!! I think they should do DCI
Yes!!!! I would love to see that and the outfits they could make
Try Guys try Colorguard makes my heart so happy omg
i did guard in high school!!! i miss spinning rifle and doing tosses w flag 😭😭
Ok but the little Ramble musical intro gives me so much bittersweet nostalgia, especially bc I spent the beginning of the pandemic last year listening to you guys. Congrats on 100!
Same!! I listened to them every morning with a newborn. Very sleep deprived and anxious in post partum. Now the ramble sounds brings up so much nostalgia! And probably always will.
I would love to purchase the whole song!!
OMG SAME
Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think Eugene's story about helping his soccer opponent post-faceplant is actually really sweet and showed a good display of a lot of empathy. More sweet than embarrassing imo.
You're not in the minority, it's more sweet than embarassing maybe a little sad because the were so close to winning
I don't think I can comment bc I broke an opponents nose in a soccer game
I love ned but he can f off on this. It was so precious. lol ❤❤❤
Congratulations for 100 episodes! These guys have made Quarantine so much more enjoyable! 💍🍗🏳️🌈☕️
Love the emojis you used!
You know you're knee deep into the Try Guys when you understand those emoji without a second thought.
Nah it's more 👶
@@sunnys9891 Thanks!!
@@Nikki-tx6kh So true 😂
I got most improved 3 years in a row in softball and I truly was like "how can I keep being more improved, how BAD am I??!" 😆
This was my experience with basketball!
Miles’ story about scoring in the wrong way triggered my memory where I did exactly the same thing noooooooo
lmao, idk if this was common, but in my little league soccer they would have teams switch goals after half time. Multiple times I forgot that we had switched and scored into our own goal. My dad was the coach, he was not impressed XD
@@irishcannoli SAME oh my god hadn't thought of that in years, this really opened some old wounds 😂 I was so excited to get the ball and didn't even stop to wonder why the other team was so slow to respond, and scored in our own goal. My dad was also the coach, super not amused, and took me off the starting line-up. That ended my not-so-promising soccer career. And yes goal-change happens in any soccer game unless the rules are non-official.
Eugene is sitting there like a most majestic cat😂❤🐈
I can't unsee The majestic cat he's basically one of the eeveelutions that never happened but should have been
@@silverink1824 yes!!!
ned being a chaothic mathlete is honestly very on-brand for him
“There’s not a lot of public kissing with someone that’s not your partner that you do in life” -Keith
Eugene watches “TV Show/Movie” for the first time would be a great series. I know he wasn’t allowed to watch certain things or play video games as a kid so I’d love to experience his adult first-time commentary.
They should do a series watching international shows, it would be interesting to see their reactions to them.
Honestly the more we learn about Keith the more interesting he gets. Loves to party, fun guy, all that and then he and his friends in high school spend their Saturdays playing music to strangers and practicing……just love it 😆
Any other fine arts kids feeling validation in this Chili's tonight
Is it just me or was it by far the funniest and most wholesome episode ever?! Everyone was so engaged and funny; even Eugene participated so much!!! I love the century episode ! ❤️
This episode reminded me that my soccer participation trophy said “most questions asked.”
LOL
OMG LOL
Oh my god, Ned was on the bad guy team in the movie.
He’s the Adam Banks! He switched from the mean team to the scrappy kid arts team by joining the Try Guys!
Yes! I was driving home and then thought "I need to watch The Mighty Ducks when I get home."
Did you guys change shirts for this episode? Remember you said this was filmed straight after 99 and I love the commitment lol
i was thinking about this too! lol
i would think so! they talk about how much they sweat 😂 so besides that, it’s a trick a lot of youtubers use!!
Eugene kept the shirt from #99.
What a great episode! Eugene is the best, the way he stays silent, and then finds his groove. A socially anxious king we can get behind
Eugene with facial hair has been used as a lure in the podcast thumbnails for 4 episodes in a row now... and it's working! 💕
Omg eugene’s Napoleon ice cream moment was epic!!!!!
This was a very good episode, no real lull in the conversation, everybody got a story in and all were well told. Great job guys!
I just started, but as soon and Keith sung us in I was dancing, this whole episode is gonna be a vibe. Congrats on y’all getting to 100!
please do try guys do the mbti/ 16personalities quiz!! or even on the podcast i'd love to know what you guys get :))
Yes! The wives as well
@@andreamarie6501 definitely!!
“My favorite kind is neopolitan....oooooooo....it’s not one flavor it is three”🎶🎵🎶😆 how awesome was that answer!?!? Eugene was always destined for greatness
I’d kill to watch them do Addams Family The Musical and for Eugene to play Morticia ❤️
I always forget Ned is from Jax and then he name dropped my high school lmao
I think Eugene's story about sport was so sweet. He was such a sweet kid.
When I was younger I played coach pitch softball. Literally the first day of practice, I had never played ever before, I was throwing the ball back and forth with the coaches daughter because she was on our team and we were the only ones that had showed up. She threw the ball and I didn’t have the glove up to protect my face and the ball hit me in the face and busted my lip open on my teeth. I started screaming and crying and ended up having to go to the hospital and get 4 stitches to close it up. When I came back the next practice I told him I wanted to play catcher because it had all the padding and full face mask to protect myself lol. The coach told me that some of his best players he’s had or played with were always the ones that got hurt. I ended up being on of the better players on the team and one of the best hitters. Years later I found him on Facebook and added him and he messaged me and said how excited he was to get to reconnect with a Diamondbacks (that was our team) hall of famer. That made me feel so good even years later!
Make the try guys play music Instrument they never played before. Or change your instruments for a week and learn a song then see who did the best.Keith learns drums, Eugene french horn, Zach oboe and Ned Violine oder piano
Yes, I have been saying this for 2 years now!
From now on, Miles should be called, "WRONG WAY. BONSIGNORE" !
Every time I watch these, I play a little game called “try to guess what Eugene is thinking.”
Wow, all these years working together and Zach never let slip he was a band geek too?
Midwest states are no joke with music. It’s amazing he did so well!
Eugenes high school rebel phase reminds me of "Moxie" on netflix, which I loved. I would love to see a movie about a teen Eugene as a defiant theater queen, someone make it happen please.
Me, 31 year old woman, barely realizing “most improved” didn’t mean I had improved 😐
Aw don't take it to heart! Ned and Eugene are just recalling "most improved" from the memories as immature, competitive young boys. Anyone who works hard and improves through their efforts and diligence deserves to be commended. I think they were just talking from the context of young boys in sports haha. They're still so competitive as adults lol
Hearing all their fun stories from middle to high school makes me so envious. I lost so many years to anxiety, depression, and trauma overall *sigh* . Well I'm only 21 so I suppose I still have some years to have fun. :)
Censorship is terrible in high school. My high school drama teacher got FIRED for complaint about injustice in the work place on her PERSONAL social media. At the time we were doing Judas Iscariot and if you know that play it is defiantly not clean. So at that point my teacher was just done with the school and so she comes in guns a blazing rips up the master script and turned to the stage manager and said “go print of the original script we are not going to censor this show. What are they going to do FIRE ME!” Hands down the best show we ever had
The very first episode of the Trypod was the first podcast I ever listened to. Thanks for igniting my current podcast addiction. I watch the newest episode every week on RUclips and now I’m listening (again) from the beginning on the pocket casts app.
hearing the try guy's schedules when they were my age really makes me realize how unproductive I am lmao
Eugene rioting in his texas high school? Love it.
Wait ok so Eugene’s soccer story reminded me of my soccer experience as a 5 year old. I only scored one goal in my entire (short lived) soccer career and it happened to be the goal that won us the game. Instead of celebrating with everyone else... I started crying because I didn’t want the other team to be mad at me. 🙃
Anyone else want to know what Ned’s red card was for?!? Mine was cussing at a ref... in eighth grade 😂
Eugene's Dicken's choir sounds a lot like what my high school did. The best choir in the school--the Marshall Singers--sang in the fanciest restaurant in the city every Wednesday night.
Congrats on 100! I usually listen on my drives in to work but today I get the pleasure of the video. Thanks for your hard work!
Congratulations on 100 episodes! 🎉 My favourite podcast to watch after work or listen to whilst I'm wfh. Here's to 100 more 🥂
Listened to every episode. I love The Try Guys and the whole team. This year I went thru the worst break up and listening to your podcast non stop everyday really helped me feel like I wasn't alone. Can't wait for another tour! ❤
Congrats on 100 episodes! I’ve listened to the first 99 at least twice each I love you guys keep doing what you do!
The beginning of this episode is my favorite thing of my life because I am a band director and I have been through all this stuff and watch my students go through this and it makes me so happy to see that you guys went through some of this band stuff too!
This episode was fabulous! So much nostalgia identifying with what you guys described and thinking about my time as a kid, both the amazing, the crazy and the traumatic. I love this pod and this kind of episode. Thanks, guys!
congratulations on the 100 episodes!! i remember being super excited the day the first episode dropped :)
felt like a true just chill conversation between friends. Thanks for the laughs!
most horrific moment in highschool: i was the only junior girl who made it into my schools competitive improv group and while practising the coach and seniors made the prompt 'first kiss' and tried to make me kiss the only other junior boy. Normally I would do whatever they said, bc improv, but I straight up refused and it was soo awkward. I hand't had my first kiss so it was terrifying
.
Congratulations btw Keith your intro was chefs kiss “
Congrats on 100 episodes! This episode was very interesting! Loved it :)
Congrats! Here since episode 1 - and the first underwear try on back in the day! Love the Pods, y'all
I’m from North Florida and I knew EXACTLY what Ned meant when he said, “You prove you’re better than Bolles and Episcopal B***H!!!!” I felt that and screamed YESSSS!!!!!
Again I thank you guys so much ... you have helped me get through so many aspects of my life
Congratulations on the 100th episode. A favorite addition to your brand. However far y'all want to take this! Love every episode.
this was one of my fav podcast episodes! love hearing old stories
Congrats guys on 100 episodes of the trypod
Happy 100th Episode. You have brought so much laughter to me during the pandemic. Thank you!
Thank you guys for 100 amazing podcasts! CONGRATULATIONS!
ned mentioning bolles and episcopal rocked me,, completely forgot he grew up in jacksonville
im only have an hour in but i looooove the topics so far and while i like laughing out loud to these, i could listen to you guys talk about band, the arts, and standardized tests for days it just makes you guys that much more relatable (than you already are) for me.
Thank You Try Guys for all of your hard work ! Wishing you all and your company infinite
success !
Guys!! I've listened to/seen every single podcast and I really loved your 100th episode 😍😍 loved hearing your highschool stories. Love you guys!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍 Rock on fellas!
My parents would shout “THEYRE SWAPPING SPIT!” When ever any kiss scene happened when I was a kid😂😂 it kills me know thinking back!
As a 4-year Academic Decathlon participant, I feel Ned's enthusiasm for competition test taking.
WOOOOOOOOOOO 100 episodes!!!! That’s awesome! Congrats!!!
Also, I am LOVING Eugene’s look today! The mustache and denim shirt are so attractive. 😍😍😍
I don’t really have that many embarrassing musical memories, but one of note (pun intended) was when I farted during my audition for my current job. Still won tho. Guess Mozart can stand to benefit from a little flatulence 😂
Congrats on 100 episodes! I like to listen when I go on walks, so thanks for always making me look insane when I always end up laughing out loud to myself, I wouldn't want it any other way lol
the look of disgust on eugene's face when miles moaned during the intro advice LMAOOOOOO
congrats on episode 100 you guys!!
congrats on 100 episodes!!
Ned and Keith's genuine laughs at the miles nation bit gave me all the dopamine
This episode was awesome! I relate a lot to the stories Keith and Ned were telling. I'm also from the Chicago suburbs and was in band/solo ensemble/IMEA. We used to compete against Nequa Valley and always got our asses kicked by them. Also can relate to that amazing feeling of getting into IMEA (not 1st chair and not all state lol). And was in mathletes, scholastic bowl and the test taking club Ned mentioned. It really me brought me back to high school! So thanks for the cool episode!
100 episodes of one of the GREATEST podcast thus far. Congratulations!!!
Best episode of the TryPod I’ve ever listened to! These stories were great!
MILES I 100% did that during basketball in high-school 😂😂😂 so glad to not be alone in that
I love these episodes! They're such a fun idea to have a whole episode driven by one of the guys! Please let Miles have one!!!!!!!!
I’m a music teacher and it makes me SO HAPPY that the guys give a platform for the arts and talk about how important they are. ❤️🎶
I love how they still changed there skirts.
congrats on 100 episodes! can't believe it's been that many
Wow, I remember when this podcast first came out when I was studying abroad in Germany which meant I was traveling a lot. I would listen to the Trypod on long train rides and never felt alone during my travels because it felt like I was sitting with friends while silently enjoying their conversation and the German countryside. Now, the podcast gets me through a two hour drive home every weekend.
Thank you guys so much, treat yourselves as you are doing great work here. Congrats on 100!
Living for all the band stories :) As a French horn player who was in band from 6th grade through college, these are my best memories but so many are tied to my most embarrassing moments lol.
Congrats on 100 episodes!!!
I love you guys! Congratulations! I watch all your stuff ❤️
Congrats on the 100 episodes! It seems like yesterday the first episode was published and we were pre-pandemic. Thanks for 100 laughs and hundreds more!
Can’t wait for them to all start taking about Eugene’s shirt.
Eugene's high school rebellion through stage is goals. Every. single. one.
Omg Miles! The exact same thing happened to be in 6th grade and I cried hysterically. It was the most humiliating experience and it wasn't during a fun summer camp. It was during our regular season at a tournament.
“Any soft instruments?”
Wind instruments like the flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, etc can be soft and quite pleasant. But reed instruments can be VERY loud and EXTREMELY squeaky for the first year or two. I promise it gets better!
The band in the van sounds amazing!
As someone who also went to PHS, I looooved the Mr. PHS show and it makes me so happy to know Eugene was in it at one point
My band director heart gets SO EXCITED when Keith talks about band stuff
Congratulations Guys!🎉👏 Here's to many more🍻🍷
Also I'm lovin the stache Eugene🔥😍
This was an enlightening episode 💕
