  • This is part of a series of writing prompts designed to guide screenwriters through NanoWrimo. This video discusses how to create a SUSPENSE SCENE.
Yeah, I know the “NO” in NaNoWriMo stands for “Novel” but who says screenwriters can’t be a part of NaNoWriMo? November is a great month for writing.

You can use these 30 writing prompts to guide you through writing a screenplay in 30 days, or to help you complete NaNoWriMo.
    HOW TO USE THIS SERIES:
Follow the prompts in order, and if a prompt does not fit your screenplay (this is not a formula) you can just write five pages instead. However, the prompts should fit most screenplays and follows three-act structure.
By the end of the 30 days you will have a complete screenplay.
Nine days will be spent on development, with 21 days spent writing. We will outline and develop as we go which will help to defeat writer’s block.
I’ll be reading the comments so if you have questions or want to update me on your NanoWriMo progress, please leave a comment below.
