I did this today and noted that even though I had the exotic and finished the exotic catalyst quest, I still received the message that "Your chance to find the Navigator has increased." One of our fireteam didn't have the exotic. I got a 2nd one when we finished the dungeon. Also, we actually all died in that final jumping puzzle before the final boss and we thankfully respawned at the beginning of the jumping puzzle. Hope this helps.

I like this. I've had people refuse to help get a catalyst because they wanted to wait until they had the exotic to bother. This incentivizes those kinds of people to help out.

oddly the name reminds me more of the Navigators from Dune 😊 definitely going to grind for this trace rifle, even if I have to solo dungeon because I have no one to dungeon with 😅
Btw, you can backtrack from the final boss room up to the final statue. It's a little finicky, but I was able to do it on Titan with Catapult lift and a buddy did it on Warlock too.
Hey if you can scale backwards through vault of glass you can scale backwards through anything. Warlocks and Titans have it easy, Hunters can just go invis lol.
When my team was looking for the final collectable, I was able to get back to the room easy without stompeez. So every class can make it it’s not that hard
Unrelated but helpful to all those who like fishing If a Public event is going to happen and youre not close to getting max Frenzy, dont pick up the fish until the next fishing pond spawns, the fish you THEN pick up will count towards the current Fishing Frenzy, doing this may help you catch fish faster for both Rep and Rewards

There is a way to get back up from start of final. I accidentally fell down on WL but climbed back out to get the secret chest. It's fairly simple and easy to just jump your way back out
I was wondering the same thing, I picked up the Hexagon under the water to see if that did anything, but nothing happened. Plus, the stupid fire team I go in with wants to fly through it, and I always need more time to explore. I need to do it with some friends. I already collected this week's two plant samples. I also have a Calus Bobblehead in the Helm tank that my friends can't see because I completed it and they didn't.
I believe if you put in the grind/time the exotic shouldn’t be time-gated with only 3 characters per week and saying “we have a chance” it’s the same as me telling my dog “come here” you might get a treat 🤦♂️
Does this work if you have the catalyst? I mean can you do these steps with the same fireteam back to back on multiple characters? Or once you get the caty you just can't access the ghost piles? I hope this makes sense
I just helped two people get the catalyst on my first full clear, and I got it. I don't know how much this boosts your chances, but this for sure works.
I mean, two of us helped a friend get the cat and neither of us got the exotic. RNG is RNG. It's probably another small boost like the ones from the triumph.
Spire/Duality (and all Raids now) have the updated system to boost the Exotic drop chance by completing certain triumphs (flawless, solo, collectibles, master, etc). This reward for helping someone get a catylst IS new, but isn't necessary to add and also is very niche (as you have to have someone that has the exotic). Additionally, since it is new, it's unknown if it's a temporary buff, weekly, stacking, or just bugged out text/not an actual implemented system.

Dear Hunters if you see a Titan with Icefall Mantles on shoot them with the woven mail. See if it works with its Glacial Gaurd. Who knows even a sunspot. Asking for a fellow Titan main.

yup literally the only bad parts are the final encounter and in between the 1st and 2nd encounter dont tell anyone this but i personally like the underwater section in between the 1st and 2nd encounter
In the beginning area there is a terminal that you can activate…does anyone know what this does yet? I found it on my first run but haven’t seen anyone talk about it?
every week you can attempt to get the dungeon exotic once per character per week. if you rerun the dungeon on the same character in the same week youll get the other loot drops but the exotic will not drop for that week
Not true for either Harthshadow or Hierarchy. I farmed for them exclusively on my Hunter the first week of release to get both of them to drop. This lockout is new to dungeons.
@@preacher8213 Are you certain? You farmed the dungeons when they first released? As it's always been the case of a lockout - 1 try per character per week. This was confirmed by bungie when the Duality dungeon came out.
just as a heads up once the person with the trace gets the catalyst they cannot help others anymore one of my friends who I did the dungeon day 1 with got the trace, he went and helped some of his other friends get the bonus chance and get his catalyst, he then tried to help me and another friend and it wouldn't let anyone interact with the ghost pile on both normal and master unless its a bug, once someone with the trace gets the catalyst they cant help anyone else with the bonus drop chance
I got it first run, along with most of the armor. The one time in 10 years Destiny RNG was good to me….I still dont have V. Mythoclast if that tells you anything
I suppose they added this because the RNG is probably a lot like Deep Stone Crypt, and completing the dungeon solo is much harder than previous experiences.

@@Argaitlam yeah armor is one of the best sets imo and the waveframe doesnt seem too bad with the right roll it may be worse than forbearance but it leaves space for your energy slot also we can now have triple waveframes with the one from the dungeon, vow, and that one heavy stasis waveframe on neomuna
A part of me feels like this was also done in Kings Fall; for whatever reason everytime my group helped the one with touch do the catalyst run, another would get touch after we finished the run..

So the good part about this is this specific boost is NOT temporary, it’s just as permanent as the others. If you do unlock this boost, you can see in orbit when previewing the mission under the exotic boosters node that it goes up by 1

This Trace rifle has to be one of the coolest weapon designs the athestic is awesome and I love the name a nod to the Taken King.

It's actually pretty easy to jump back up the hole you fall down to get to the last boss, I wouldn't worry too much about wiping and being sent there.

It should stack. I've been doing that to my titan buddies using the Into the Fray aspect since Lightfall dropped.

5 of them, activate them all and you get a Tank.
Spawning in the tank that does absolutely nothing
Spawns in a useless golden tank for no reason other than to pay tribute to the bionic legged blonde who got incinerated last season. That is all.
If you spawn at the final boss, you CAN jump back up. I did it as a Hunter with Stompees when my friend found the secret chest above the Ogre.
