Also of course, nice job with the set man! the "kindof 1:1 scale + full interior" is all we want and lego is so far from it sometimes..

Epic U-Wing moc, pairs really well next to the X-Wing . First time seeing this ship in Rouge One was really striking, also gave me Star Fox vibes bc of the way the wings angle back to form a arrow shape. Defiantly fits within the Star Wars lore and universe.

I saw the short of this one coming out and was so excited you decided to tackle such a challenging project. This turned out great! Luckily, I have this one already and had already been thinking about rebuilding to improve the interior space. So excited to see you did the work for me!

I'd call it affordable scale, or practical scale(for display in an adult's home) hahaha I really like your mocs. They are different in approach compared to other ones, not as flimsy or oversized, more focus on the minifigures and the -play- practical aspect. It has the looks, it instantly gets across what it is, and it can be easily and affordably be built without taking up too many pieces and eating up a budget for one ship that usually isn't justifiable. Like the UCS AT-AT or Falcon, which are just too large to make a display(I think the playscale at at makes a much better display with figures than the behemoth) Or even the new mini Tantive that is just too large/expensive to justify to have as a memento for the ship.
This U-wing is great, I do think the side doors could have benefited a lot from a slightly larger scale. That being said, miniaturizing it like this is always very impressive
I actually haven’t played Jedi Survivor so I don’t know the ship that well, although I know I’d love the game. I think what @2bricks created is absolutely amazing!
Any sequel ships are low on my priority list. Those ships just didn’t connect with me because the movies were so bad. Even though the bomber was a cool design it made no sense - why is it slow in space and why do the rebels have a bomber!? Mon Motha was supposed to have gotten rid of heavy weaponry like that. Rebels made quick strikes and ran to get away, not slowly blow things up like the empire

The U-Wing was a very enjoyable build and looks fantastic compared to the original. The larger windshield is a must as you have managed to fit the 2 pilots. It goes well with the x-wing.
Could you try make both jedi starfighters in minifig scale? I made a jedi interceptor that is almost perfect minifigure scale and looks like a real lego design in my opinion and I'd be happy to show you it for inspiration! Ps. I'll send those red 5 x-wing modification pics soon i was just quite busy after i commented that lol.
@BAUFman Bricks some of your Design Choices i dont understand why you choose them?? For example the whole Cockpit Area and the nose of the Ship (more angle and . The cockpit for example is at the top flat if you look at the actual u-wing from star wars.
MOCs are very limited by the windscreen pieces available. I chose to use the windscreen from the bottom of the original leg ship because it is 6 studs wide (accommodate 2 minifigures) and because this is a modification afterall. Is there a 6 stud wide windscreen you’d recommend?
@@BAUFmanBricks No the cockpit should be the same item but on the top of the cockpit should sit a flat tile piece not a slope piece. Also there i think the cockpit should be more angled with wedge plates, especially at the back left and right.
I think you misunderstand how huge the cockpit piece is then. It’s 2 bricks tall and 12 long! I am essentially trying to mask it up with white bricks and that requires me to make a structure around it that adds 2 plates on top. Go look up the piece, 13252, it’s massive and I am covering the large majority of it which severely limits anything I can build around it or make it slimmer. I actually have a good alternative windscreen piece in mind if I ever edit/update this build. And there is a good chance I will update this build if new molded pieces come in the new rumored set.

ive never had the gut to improve my falcon , but after your video i actually made the two seat cockpit and added the tiled floor

As beautiful as that model it’s 4-5 more expensive and with over 3k pieces. Plus it’s huge and beyond minifigure scale.
