  • VETERANS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, SACRIFICE AND DEFENDING OUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS.
Ford is starting to lower prices slowly but not fast enough to keep up with the stock. Soon Ford will need to find other lots or stop sending vehicles due to supply being so high.
F150, F250, F350, Ford Maverick, Expedition, Expedition Max and more. Even a 2023 Tundra used, probably traded for an F150 LOL.

I hear people all the time complain about their high truck payments. I tell them i don't think the salesman forced you to buy it.

The Maverick was supposed to be a 20k truck. Seeing them mid-high 30's is beyond disappointing. According to Carmax, my 21' Tundra had a dip a few months ago, but has been going up again since. The blown engines are scaring people from Toyota imo.

6 months ago in my area the Ford dealers wanted 5,000 markup on the Ford Maverick they would not budge on price so I kicked them to the curb and ended up buying a Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road twice the truck for less money😅 my very first foreign vehicle ever after 55 years of buying vehicles😊

I ordered a 2023 Lariat Maverick. I waited 10 months before my Ford salesperson told me my truck was in production. I went online and printed the monroney sticker. They screwed up options that I ordered. I canceled and got my deposite back. I went to Toyota and purchased a vehicle. My son has a 2017 Ford F-150 that is constantly having mechanical issues. Ford never!

I have a 22 TRD sport that I get just over 30 mpg, depending on wind and hills. I figured that if it's good enough for alkida and the taliban, it's good enough for me. If I miss spelled anything that's for the you tube spell checkers.

I have been retired for almost a year now. I would like to have a basic truck for odd jobs but the pricing is outrageous for both new and pre owned. Some of us do not want a status symbol, just a simple vehicle that is affordable. My 15 year old Avalon runs fine so I will stick with that and when necessary rent a truck or have materials delivered.

As far as I see it here on Long Island has nooooo incentives from what I see on anything! Not even on those over price Broncos ! And that new ranger raptor, it’s beautiful truck rides nice but at 60,000 plus the dealers are marking wayyyyy up! The Colorado ZR2 even with some xtras added on that is a great buy and as nice as the ranger raptor! I will say one thing the 3.0 twin turbos in the ranger raptor it’s got balls! But the 2.7 turbo max”s put out 310 hp and 405 in torque so it’s got ballls also for the midsize, so look into the Colorado for at lease 10-15 thousand less!

V6 turbos have great power...HOWEVER, people need to change their drivestyle with these smaller engines...can't drive them like v8's...They won't last nearly as long as they could...same with transmissions...can't drag race after every stop light, stop sign...more gears, means more time to get up to speed safely...these are why some last a long time & others do not...80% beat their vehicles

Price and interest rates is one thing, even if you can afford these modern day vehicles you have to deal with unacceptable build quality. Then, when you try to bring it into the dealership for warranty work to fix the unacceptable build quality you cannot even get an appointment because they are so backed up; instead they tell you " drop it off, it will be 1-3 business days before someone can possibly take a look at it, and it's not a guarantee" Oh and " we have no loaners to give you". Ask me how I know..

I think a lot of sales lately have been fleet in Q1, all manufacturers are selling a LOT fewer vehicles than say, 2015 era. Their profitability per vehicle is high because of what you said, crazy inflated MSRPs. Hopefully it all catches up to them and they lower prices instead of just firing more employees.

You need to add in insurance costs- they have gone up big time. I’m driving a 22 ram Rebel with the 5.7 Hemi. I love the truck and all its bells and whistles but I’m getting terrible gas mileage (as expected). Wife made me buy it from my son because he bought a new f150 Raptor and didn’t want the trade in screw from stealorship

Why are the base non hybrid Maverick XL's so rare to see on lots? Are they gobbled up quickly, under produced "intentionally" or harder to make? I'd grab one if they offered a small cab 6' bed option. Seems like that would be cheaper to make/lower msrp with fewer seats, less frills and more appealing to so many struggling with low wages and high inflation. But I'm probably, as usual, in the minority with both my needs and minimal tech/creature comfort requirements.

You know, somehow Grandpa farmer was able to use a pickup that wasn’t the size of a small building wheels and did just fine. In fact an F-150 from back then was the size of a new Maverick now. And the engine power was 1/2 the. Engine power is now. I’m calling BS on truck buyers who say they are buying a truck for utility. Trucks now are mainly for pure ego.
