    Dogs are extremely acutely aware of energy states. I think humans have grown insensitive to this because of verbal language taking up so much of our attention. But we can rediscover it if we try.

    This guy is a legend.
    I recently adopted a stray dog, who's only just 4 months old, but she is so scared of literally everything, never seen a dog this terrified before. Really makes me wonder how come a pup is so terrified of the world and people. I hope Cesar makes more content on scared dogs, with low self esteem or not sociallized etc. Because I'm literally taking notes

      Tam G Smith Being one with the dog. 101 Lol! No but really, funny thing is that people think the dog needs to be changed and it’s the dogs fault for everything it does. In actuality though humans and animals interact with each other. They were created to be by our side by god. So they have a certain way of communication as well as humans do. So we have to learn their language , so to speak. It kinda goes back to a spiritual aspect of looking at things. Taking a deeper look. Not just skimming over the surface.

    • @brittnygarza5729
      @brittnygarza5729 4 года назад

      Also just like our mood and energy affects other people. So it affects our dogs as well because there really in tune to our feelings. Why do you think we have physical therapy dogs? And for people that are sick or dying. You know it’s just all these things that go hand and hand together. And those are the reasons why it goes back to spiritual things.

    What are the different styles of dog training common today?

    • @MusicTennis
      @MusicTennis Год назад

      Dog training I don't know but on the more important "Dog Behavior Modification Methods" the two most popular on TV are Cesar Milan and Victoria Stillwell. Milan uses positive (rewards) as well as leash corrections, side submits (rare but necessary to stop dog fighting). He stresses exercise, discipline and then affection. Milan can solve any kind of dog aggression especially vicious protection of their food. Stillwell uses (positive only) methods like avoidance when a dog misbehaves. She's not in his league when it comes to serious, vicious dog behaviors. She criticized his "side submit" technique which is nuts because that's how a mother dog disciplines her puppies. She puts her mouth on the pup and holds him down until he gives up (calm submissive). Cesar can break up a Pit Bull fight and rehabilitate them. Victoria can't.

    My dog Buddha has a very similar problem.
    We got him as a puppy to be an emotional support dog for my mother's anxiety.
    Admittedly, we didn't do our research and just got a little dachshund Chihuahua mix.
    He's a good boy, love him to death. But he barks at every little sound and snarls at us.
    It really spikes the anxiety, which I guess then makes him more assertive and protective... which makes more people look over, which then makes me more anxious.
    I guess I can try and be more assertive and confident in myself when walking him.

      You have to make the leash correction. Make sure the collar is high up on the neck and tug lightly when he barks. Lean down, get eye contact and say "NO". Remember to tug and release. Don't maintain tenison on the leash. Your dog will learn that barking is unwanted by you. You're dog isn't scared, it's a warning bark saying "get away from my female". He doesn't see you as a dominant authority Mom figure but a submissive girlfriend that he owns. Watch Cesar videos and good luck!
