      I believe the public it's getting down in age eventually, there's this missconception that they are only for older people, but i'm 23 riding an ebike absolutely loving it, every second, and its definitely not for lack of fitness. It's just because it's fookin' better to be able to do 5 laps in the time i used to run 2, my friends are getting converted soon or later...

    Bryceland isn't trying to sell the bike, and that makes the whole thing very honest. I'm a fan.

      Just think about it. Sure, he's not an 'on the floor salesman' but he's riding ebikes in videos to promote them and many people will buy the bikes because Josh is riding them.

    Josh Bryceland is the Lewis Capaldi of Mountain Biking. Love him. ❤
    #EMBN love to see more of these interviews. There's not many sports that people can move out the top level and still earn a living just for the love of the sport.

    Hi EMBN, I watch all of your videos with enthusiasm and think your channel is brilliant. I left a comment about two days ago regarding SUBTITLES but it looks like you have deleted it, why did you do this? My request wasn’t rude. You guests commentary was inaudible and I was really looking forward to hear what he had to say.

    • @embn

      Hey Matthew, thanks that's rad to hear you are a big fan of the channel! We haven't deleted any comments regarding subtitles so it may have been an automated RUclips thing. If you check the subtitles now we have edited to make it clearer. His strong accent can make it hard to understand 🤣

    Its great to hear Josh's opinion on Ebikes and Its not surprising to hear he's looking forward to getting his own. Id love to try one of those Cannondale Ebikes any day of the week. I just think ebikes and MTB are two different sports, MTB is about feeling uncomfortable and EMBN is all about the flash and sizzle. One difference between MTB and ebiking is the equipment obviously but on an MTB the price of your bike is a moot point, you can go just as fast and have just much fun as on a more expensive bike. Sure the same could be said Ebike vs Ebike but when you pay for an Ebike you gain an instant advantage over the fit, fast and skilled MTB riders. So yes your money can buy you an advantage with an ebike, when you pass me going up hill Im thinking" look at that money"( its like your driving a Tesla and Im driving a Civic.) Lucky I have my sport, mountain biking thats always been there for me making me feel alive, and I dont mind sharing with the new kid on the block as long as they put in the work to earn there spot. Basically I think an ebike is symbolic of a class separation between the have and have-nots but we share the same trails.

    I love Josh but feel like he’s sold out a little here. Josh is a huge advocate of caring for our environment but promoting bikes that require a power seems odd.

  • @tamasvarga67
    @tamasvarga67 5 лет назад +3

    Josh quit DH racing partially citing 'environmental impact/concerns' and now he's promoting ebikes that have an uncomparable environmental impact (I mean their production) compared to regular bikes. I understand he's doing his job but it's sad to see more and more youngsters on ebikes.

    • @JohnoLapse
      @JohnoLapse 5 лет назад +1

      By that very logic. A rider that weighs just 7 kgs more than I do on a normal bike would be hurting the environment just as much.

    • @tamasvarga67
      @tamasvarga67 5 лет назад +3

      @@JohnoLapse No, my logic is the environmental impact of manufacturing and maintaining ebikes compared to regular bikes - from raw material to energy used, batteries, more frequent need of spare parts etc.

    • @elliotthutton7175
