@@edenromanov (typo corrected) I was honered to get our Tenchou's cute mug that comes with her curry menu:) btw i could not buy every merch because they didnt filled every types of stocks but at least i tried every cafe menu for kiara's weak except gura's hydrodynamic icecream and Ame's drink and bought some nice stuff that they had for thay day. (To be honest, i expected more stuff to buy because it was all sold for few days before i went there and they announced for new stocks...still happy:)

I remember i went to the hololive store at Anime Expo this year and oh my lord i couldnt make it. They had a sign by the end of the line that said come back in 2 hrs. By the time i came back the sign was back up. Not like i wanted anything from it anyway >_>

Wow, that is absolutely insane! I didn't expect Myth to be that popular in Korea!
But then again, the prices for the food and the merch seem extremely reasonable so it's really easy to justify going there if you live even remotely close to a shop.
"Larger and higher quality then expected" - yeah, that pretty much sums up the entire collab from what I could see. The food, the merch, the stores, everything looks just amazing.
I loved when the fans started to show off their hauls and trade, great to see all these nice interactions thanks to Hololive.
The cafe area in Busan seems smaller than what Kiara showed when she went to the shop in Seoul but it does have the far better view.
The interactions were so precious. You could also tell that Aniplus and Hololive really worked hard for this collab.
Also, the Seoul store is underground by a metro station, but the Busan store is on the 9th floor, hence the more open feel, which I really loved.

South Korea has really big influential ties to America, it's inhabitants still remembers and praise America for it's involvement in the Korean War.
American tourists are treated pretty well in South Korea, and the culture there is very hospital and caring for visitors, you get some amazing experience because they know people would come back if treated well. American veterans especially are well treated.
If a Restaurant likes you for bringing business to their shop, they might give you a free dish for the visit for example.

Guys, it's like this EVERY FREAKING DAYS, not just the opening day. I also went on opening day late (cuz i'm also underestimate how massive hololive fans are here). Came back a week later, in line from 7:30 am and the line was already long like this. Crazy.
This was great, loved seeing the fans just hanging out and trading with each other

The amount of fans Hololive has is actually getting insane and it particularly surprises me how many Myth fans there are all over the world. World domInation is actually sounding very plausible now, especially with CouncilRyS' new fans they pull in.
We're starting to understand the kind of respect people have for Gen 0/1. Regardless if you're a fan of Council/Hope you still look up to the OGs.

@@gdas3566 If I recall it was some main things that did do it was having good steam times for korea(which is UTC/GMT+9 like japan) and also just being very welcoming to Korean fans when they come to her steams (like highlighting a korean clipper and just being very nice overall)

That should be fine. As long as you find the location and line up if there is a line, I am sure the staff or the people will help you out even if they can't speak the language. Maybe take a Hololive merch with you to show that you are friend 😃

This gave me flashback to the release of World of Warcraft. At the time, I was so used to people in my country not caring about video games, so I was surprised that there were 10 other people at GameStop when they opened. It is not the same scale as this, but there is a great feeling of sharing a bond with people around you at events like this, no matter if it’s 10 or 1000 people. Buying stuff online doesn’t compare.
This looked so awesome. It's nice that you're able to still get some of the goodies in the end. It's also so cool to see all fans talking with each other and even trading ^^
The Korean Hololive community looks so nice and supportive. Makes me so happy to see it.

Wow, the EVENT is nuts, the VIDEO is nuts, the REACTION to the video is nuts... it's like a perfect storm of HoloEN fandom. Nice job! I didn't even find this stream through a Holomem, it got *recommended* to me on my feed.
And also, just saying, you have a chill "reporter" vibe, it was simply fun to watch, even besides my interest in HoloEN. Seeing the fans trading stickers was so satisfying for some reason.

i'm pretty sure korea has one of the most hololive fans.. I saw a LOT of korean sub hololive clips having hundred thousands of viewers. The amount of people here speaks VOLUME. And come to think of it, this is just holomyth, imagine how many people will come if they got holo JP. I really won't be surprised if cover open hololive korea or something..

As a regular SC doer myself, I’m so jealous of you guys for that experience. Hololive is not a big thing in my country, so my best chance is probably to attend one in Singapore or Indonesia, though it’s gonna be really costly since MYR currency has weakened over the past two years.
Malaysian, huh? Hololive is bigger than you think here. There are quite a few of Hololive cosplayers in anime expos/cons, and a lot of fans. And since Comic Fiesta is back this year, expect a lot more too.
Let's attend the next anime convention this weekend (27-28 August 2022) and see what kind of cosplays are there, I think Hololive cosplays would be present there

Ikr, according to another comment even later on in the collab the lines were this crazy, not just on opening day. I often forget how popular/big Holo actually is because it gives off this ma n pa shop feel rather than a large corp.
