Bruce is an incredible character actor, Dave is the consummate straight man, and Scott can make a bit part shine like nobody else. What a special group of guys this was.
Hey! 38 and 76 were both from Shitty Soup. and I think 12 and 59 are when Dave loses his hair. You know... I'm starting to suspect Scott might have actually not played 100 waiters after all.
"Stop, stop, all it, desist..." It really looks like Dave was about to loose it to Bruce's character. Love this one - keep these clips coming please and thank you!!
Hahaha, I've seen this so many times and just noticed, "Can you return your shoes to the shoes bin?" Reminds me of the bank robbery episode. "Take off your shoes!"
scott thompson is a fucking comic genius!!!! the whole crew of kids in the hall are awesome!!!! and dave foley is hilarious live in stand up!!!! also he's a really nice dude! i got to meet him at yukyuks in toronto once. great times!
Man I used to watch Kids in The Hall, but now I got my own kids, I don't have the time to watch ANYTHING. Faaaaaauuuck. I used to have waaaaay more time back when I was a caddy. Did I ever mention I was a caddy?
I love this sketch and this character Bruce plays (i think he only appeared twice?) but for some reason the audience isnt really responding to it. Not sure why I think this sketch would do great on stage
@@elheadkickio I lovvvve Mr. Show. Yeah , kith and Mr. Show are the best of the best.. 🤣 That sketch is so hilarious, i love david , washing his underwear in the sink, terrified of monster parties... 🤣🤣🤣
I recall a Simon and Hecubus' sketch, where Simon was searching onto different personalities inside Hecubus... And, once he found one interesting, he went "Now, we're cooking with evil gas"
KITH aired between '87 and '92 and Victoria Jackson, a main SNL castmember starred with Hanks for that sketch, so it was roughly around the same time. And remember, both Bruce McCullough and Marc McKinney both were writing for SNL between '86-'88
I love how they have Scott in a tux even though this place is a diner
i had to wear a jacket like that as a busboy in a diner once
It’s a bow tie with a leather vest. That is not a tux. It is not a jacket. It’s a leather vest. Okay. You’re welcome.
@@thetruthexperiment You lost me....
I just thought that's how they roll in Canada.
Me in any job training situation ever.
I love when Scott Thompson plays a waiter.
this is my mom watching movies

lol my grandparents too!
Yup, same
Egads, this is like trying to talk to my parents...
Those were actually all the times Scott played a waiter. Haha!

100th waiter. A dream come true.
Hey! 38 and 76 were both from Shitty Soup. and I think 12 and 59 are when Dave loses his hair. You know... I'm starting to suspect Scott might have actually not played 100 waiters after all.
...you lost me
When Dave lost his hair, Scott was playing a maitre’d. I suppose that’s waiter adjacent.
I feel Foley's frustration, best sketch ever!
This sketch started good but it lost me.
What sketch?
@@rickgates1983 What's a sketch?
lol love it
Ya lost me.
There's a sketch?
i still wanna know what happened to tony and betty.
Right
Me too
They were NAKED
After the night of nakedness...they broke up.
The music video for "Just" by Radiohead will explain everything.
Wait. Tony and Betty? Stop. Ah, you lost me. 😐
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hang on. HANG ON! This is Kids In The Hall. I remember watching this stuff when I was still a caddy.
hehe
"Stop, stop, all it, desist..." It really looks like Dave was about to loose it to Bruce's character. Love this one - keep these clips coming please and thank you!!
I don't know how they can keep a straight face when Bruce is in a sketch.
Another brilliant skit by these genius'es ...thanks for posting
one of my favourite KITH sketches of all time. thank you.
openhead Ya lost me...
THERES A GUY
Obviously!
you lost me
sir, are you aware that you are gross?
@@brianlash154 Is this "sir", the same guy or is he a different guy?
I wish I lived there. I wanna move where I decide for once in my life. But you're right and that's why I love this show!

This is so well done I'm extremely annoyed and can't finish
‘ Encyclopedia’ is another kids in the hall sketch about this ‘ya lost me’ guy. It also sets the context for why Scott growls at him.
scott thompson is a fucking comic genius!!!! the whole crew of kids in the hall are awesome!!!! and dave foley is hilarious live in stand up!!!! also he's a really nice dude!

Scott's little growl at 2:50 made me LOSE IT!!

Finally a KITH that made me bust my gut laughing till I cry

We have a 'guy' in my office, also named Ken, who is just like this.
classic opie
They were the best of the best of the best.
That happened to me once.
The playing a hundred waiters thing.
Forgetful Guy and Slipped My Mind Guy are probably related, possibly the nephews of Head Squishing Guy.
This is like talking to my grandma
He really does play a lot of waiters, doesn't he?
Ugh now I want cake
"Hey, hey look! I'm an elephant rider! Huh? Ya like that?"
Scott did play a lot of waiters . . .
Look up the sketch where Scott plays a gay angel and when asked if all angels are gay he replies, "Well, a lot of us were waiters."
That doesn't seem like enough cake for the whole crew.
The crew doesn’t get to have any cake. They just get to look at it while the cast eats it. That’s good enough for them.
Man I used to watch Kids in The Hall, but now I got my own kids, I don't have the time to watch ANYTHING. Faaaaaauuuck. I used to have waaaaay more time back when I was a caddy. Did I ever mention I was a caddy?

Gavin, all grown up.
If I'm not mistaken, Scott never played a waiter after that.
This is like explaining climate change to certain people.
This guy you just mentioned, is it the same guy as before or is it like a new guy
I always wondered what the actual number was.
The tailor shoe hound
Dave's hand is freakishly big

I have a friend like that...
haha I love how Kevin kisses Scott twice in this :)
Ana Cronkite Aww so sweet...lemme kiss ya tootsies babe
IMO Bruce McCulloch is only slightly the funniest Kid LOL
Definitely the weirdest. "Daves I know" and the "terriers" sketch, and Gavin ones, are serious comedy gold..
Too Mr. Short term memory for me.
They used shitty soup twice in the waiter montage lol
Bruce looks like Kevin Constantine
Now we're cooking with gas!

Fun with head injuries or dementia.....
What was wrong with porn (WWWWP)?
after they run off and leave him to serve cake to the crew "it's cause I'm gay, right?" lol
how was this not a cabbage head sketch?
Because then it would be a different sketch.
Did he have a cabbage on his head?
Cabbage Head was an "rude" characters. This character is just what the kids call "confused".
I do that with hot chocolate. People laugh. :(
why would u hang out with a guy like that?
So it's Adhd then?
Gay? Which one? Bruce or Kevin?
This one isn't as funny as when the "you lost me" guy has the encyclopedia salesman come to the door...still pretty funny though
What's wrong with porn?
Young Donald Trump meets a friend.
This is basically a less funny version of the unfunny "Mr. Short Term Memory" skit from Saturday Night Live.
rip off of SNL "Mr Short-term Memory" w/ Tom Hanks... still funny though
What came first this was a old show there both Lorne michaels shows
These guys were writers for Saturday Night Live... back when it was funny.
Pretty sure this was before that.
KITH aired between '87 and '92 and Victoria Jackson, a main SNL castmember starred with Hanks for that sketch, so it was roughly around the same time. And remember, both Bruce McCullough and Marc McKinney both were writing for SNL between '86-'88
The skits with Bruce McCulloch are the worst.
