An outstanding job by responders, support crews, emergency measures planners and support organizations and governments. All lives were saved, the critical infrastructures were saved and 50% of the town. A successful outcome
They should be, since they keep saying this is climate change, if so then they should have been prepared for wild fires season. They take our money and say we need to choose green..... where's our help when our homes burn.
Only possible after heavy saturation of nano particulate metals absorbed into and laden on the trees from the CHEMTRAIL CAMPAIGNS we see daily. The metals cause the wood to burn generating it's own oxygen supply like MATCH HEADS.
Exactly! I climbed a mountain there and on the way up(i didnt take a trail half the way) I remember saying there was too much underbrush and they need to do a controlled burn to prevent an major fire ... well seems nature took over for all that laziness 😒
It's a park. They close their eyes in favour of nature. Well, this is nature. Time to change politicians and mindsets. How much dead timber was standing and couldn't be touched to reduce risk? We drive through parks and see standing dead all the time. Whose decision was that?
Unimaginable? No, the situation is actually quite easily imagined by anyone who's lost a home or business due to fire, or been to a town damaged by fire.
Videos of townsite show lots of animals in undamaged areas. No humans, so they are there in large numbers. Piles of trash with freezers with rotting meat/veg will attract ones like bears.
National parks are federal. Parks Canada fought it without Alberta government help. Who have night vision and can fight 24hours. Parks Canada is 10 hours. Alberta was wall of water tech that slows travel of wildfires, that's what the parks Canada guy was deflecting on, saying it wouldn't have made a difference. Just edited out to misinform.
That's right, it is unimaginable how 'fires' could totally destroy homes (in prime real estate areas again, coincidentally), while leaving trees, etc, untouched..
😂😂😂 you clearly have never even watched how fire moves through a forest or what happens when it starts to create its own winds and /or the prevailing winds throw sparks/ embers and burning pine cones for kilometres ahead of the fire. THE EMBERS AND BURNING CONES are how individual cars and houses burns down while the trees and maybe surrounding real estate stay unharmed. If a burning branch or pine cone lands on the roof of a house or commercial building that building will light on fire but if it isn’t near another building then nothing else will burn around it including trees. It’s not hard to figure out.
Think. Is parks Canada federal or provincial? Did the federal jurisdiction ask for help from Alberta government? BC government? Or did they go it alone? 44% of jasper national parks trees where dead from pine Beatles.
Umm, think about what you just said. If you had you’d see it’s impossible for an elected official to collect a pension because they are not retired. Pay attention!

Lol Jim Eglinski warned of this happening in the house of commons in 2017. Pine Beatle Clea up was never done. Could have been prevented.
Politicians and fire protection officers need to be held accountable for this fire.
Liberals have known about the problem since 2017, but have done nothing....
Always need a scapegoat.
@@saskwatch123They do need to be held accountable. It is their fault. Simple as that.

Parks canada should answer for their gross negligence.

Thank you South Africa..
Why are we not looking into forest management?
I know you don't care, but now the forest is managed. What you don't see is what it will look like in two to three years.
Exactly! I climbed a mountain there and on the way up(i didnt take a trail half the way) I remember saying there was too much underbrush and they need to do a controlled burn to prevent an major fire ... well seems nature took over for all that laziness 😒
They rather let it burn and call it: “climate change”.

Unimaginable? No, the situation is actually quite easily imagined by anyone who's lost a home or business due to fire, or been to a town damaged by fire.
Maybe you should clean up the pine beatle
Not gonna happen unless the federal government is replaced.
This is very sad.
Sadly wildfires will be getting worse in the future.
These buildings look like victoms of DEW
Hell on earth !! Horrible !!
Just going to get worse...let's protect what we still have
The simple fact is this was preventable is disgusting. Y'all should stop listening to Trudeau and resume the work we use to do to prevent huge fires.
How old our you

Critical retail? That’s crap!
You dont think gas stations are critical retail?
So we cut 20 million in firefighting and lost a few hundred million. The math just doesn’t work out.
The 2024-25 firefighting budget was increased by 50% ($50m) and the provincial disaster contingency fund was increased by $500m to $2B.

hurricane speed winds? really? katrina came through too did she?
Yeah, fires of that magnitude create incredible winds. Google.
OP isn't very intelligent, are they?
Notice the word "speed" in there? Now read slowly and focus this time🤣
No one other than Trudeau is to blame here
I heard 100 m, not 300 m. No tools to fight but houses were saved next to the ones that burned. Must have been some firefighters there?
Some houses had more wood on exterior, and roofs.
That was not wildfire... It was ARSON!
