Hi guys! Finally! This video cost me all my nerves... First of all I needed to edit it the way it is now! And it took me way too much time and trys to do so! Also I actually had 2 more reactions in there, since I wasn't so happy with the lineup (I added SEXY LOVE and SO CRAZY) BUT these again caused the whole video to get blocked! And since I couldn't even let the video in, i decided to cut it out again.. So that takes me to the third point I wanted to point out: I somehow reacted not chronologically since RUclips uploads of the MVs aren't in the right order. I try to focus on that on the next videos to come! And also: I of course couldn't react to all of ther ICONIC MVs. BUT, I might do more in the future. So for now I am fine with how it went.. I also couldn't do much more about it. So hopefully you'll still enjoy and leave a like :)

The change over from 2nd Gen to 3rd Gen took place around 2016/2017. Most 2nd Gen groups were disbanded around 2016 at the end of their 7 year contracts.
Thank you for putting in all the extra effort into bringing us this video. Copyright is indeed annoying. T-ARA is a great group indeed, lots of drama and change with them, but I think they always delivered a great product, they excelled at giving us very catchy songs along easy enough choreo, so everyone alwyas knew their songs and could dance along to them, even if they weren't really a T-ARA fan. Love to see it!!

for some context:
t-ara debuted in 2009 as a 6-member girl group with a title "Lies" and a full album, that included promoted singles "Time to love (feat. Supernova)", "Bo peep bo peep" and more.
the lineup of 6 members (Jiyeon, Hyomin, Eunjung, Soyeon, Qri and Boram) is the most iconic one, as they released their most prominent hits with these members.
in 2010 Hwayoung joined the group and later in 2011 Areum (she was only in Day by Day and Sexy Love) joined the group. and this caused one of the biggest scandals in kpop girl groups story.
in 2012 the original 6 members were accused of bullying Hwayoung, which led her to leave. later Areum also left the group and they want back to the og 6 members. they became the most hated girl group despite having the most hits and being the main rivals to big company girl groups and koreans started boycotting them. they basically survived 2012-2018 period due to their global fans.
in 2017 sadly two members (Boram and Soyeon) also left the group, as their contacts were ending. and the remaining 4 members released "What's my name" as a last song released under their label MBK ent.
in the same year a huge report/investigation was published, in which was revealed, that Hwayoung was never bullied. there were some miscommunication and misunderstanding and Hwayoung used it to leave the group and become a famous actress.
this incident is very infamous in sk and girls really were bullied and boycotted by the general public because of the false accusations.
despite that, t-ara still have a big archive of unique songs, including mega hits roly poly, cry cry, bo peep bo peep, lovey dovey, time to love, we were in love, i go crazy because of you, lies and more.
now they are independent group and sometimes they gather together to release songs, but only as 4 members. even though they're mostly remembered as 6 members group.
why their mvs aren't in order:
their stupid company deleted their channel in 2012 because their company was "transferred to the other company" (in fact they just changed the name). and mvs were republished. also some mvs that you watched are from the distributor's channel. that's why all mvs aren't in order.

Oh senior legend group T-ara...not many ppl react to old 2nd gen groups...its great to see what old k-pop was like...even before gangnam style hit in 2012...many groups like t-ara had a already a good fanbase internationally....although not as crazy amount like how it is today...it was quite a prominent growing community of kpop lovers....i had friends from sweden,italy, australia, brazil, sri lanka, etc etc we had to rely on each other for someone to translate english captions for various k-pop content...oh boy those were the days....
T-ara was really big in China. For several years straight, Chinese Queens got around the Great Firewall to vote T-ara to victory on Billboard's annual Fan Army Face-off.

Actually roly poly have another official mv..and its more to retro sound..davichi is duo group..they are also have great songs with their mesmerizing vocals..maybe you can check them out..and thanks for the reaction..

Fyi, Eun Jung was the villain in the famous drama Dream High in 2011 with Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, IU and Ok Tae yeon. 😊

I thing the pretty girl you arw referring is Jiyeon, she and Eun Jung became an actress. She is married now.
For the most part their are 6 main members... they added 2 a little later which caused their drama and disbandament... they came back in 2021 with tiki-taka but 2 of the original 6 decided not to rejoin

For the first MV , TTL, Soyeon, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Eunjung participated in the song, and Qri and Boram starred in the MV.
In the Number 9 MV you liked the red hair girl, that one is Qri. She is the one with the mole on her nose :)

Yup! You were right what's my name its basically the remaining of them being 4 when the two other members left the group, they were six at the beginning and then seven and eight but ended up with their first line up as their debut as six members, that's because you'll see six chairs, pencils, and bottles and then turned to four. It was actually kinda sad and their last song before tiki taka

i love T-ARA so much... the girls would actually be one of the top gg in the second gen if it weren't for a former member accusing the girls for bullying when it hasn't even true... the girls were blacklisted in almost every single music show in Korea and they would often receive 'black ocean' if they performed... honestly, they deserve a big phat apology from the industry

I understand not wanting to do the long MVs in this video... but i would urge you to check out the drama MVs of 'day by day' and the second part of it Drama MV 'sexy love' maybe in a seperate video... T-ara were one of the pioneers of the drama mvs that you see more groups doing nowaydays and its a great story!

There are six members in the Sugar Free video, and they are the same six who are in the Bo Peep Bo Peep video. There were six core members. At the end of their contracts in 2017 4 agreed to temporarily extend the contracts, and 2 didn't. What's My Name was the result. Then they went on a 4 year hiatus. The 4 are still together as a group. A new member was added in 2010, and then another shortly after bringing the total to 8. When that first new addition left the group in 2012 rumors circulated that the other girls bullied her. It wasn't true, but it set off a huge scandal, and their South Korean fans turned against them. Despite being tortured on social media they continued for 5 more years before leaving their company in 2017. They released some of their best music during the turmoil, including their towering achievements Number 9 and Sugar Free. They never signed with another company, and their 2021 comeback was funded by the 4 girls.

The group started with 6 members (Qri , Soyeon , Boram , Eunjung , Hyomin , Jiyeon) then added Hwayoung and later on Ahreum. Before adding an 9th member Dani officially to the group (she appears in Day by day drama version) things happened and the group started losing the new members , getting hate and going through hell. So Dani was never officially a member of the group but she was seen in a few interviews and other concent. A few years ago Boram & Soyeon left the group so now only 4 of the original members remain to T-ara.
In Number 9 the girl you liked with red hair is the one shown in the TTL cutting her hair (she doesn't sing). Thats the oldest member Qri. The one with red hair in TTL is main vocalist Soyeon.
Roly Poly is the most downloaded song in SK for the year it was released. The version you reacted to is not the original (Instrument is different).
In Day by day the one you pointed out is Qri (red hair). She is not an actress so its hard to tell where you could possibly have seen her before.
The collab with Davichi is pretty iconic. Its one of the classics for Korean people at that time. The "here she is again" girl is maknae Jiyeon. The other members featured are Soyeon (ponytail) , Hwayoung (short cut) , Hyomin (Rapper who started singing right after rapping).
In Day by day the girl with blonde hair is Jiyeon the maknae. Red hair is Hyomin and Qri is silver hair. This song (especially during live performances) is one of the reason why fans started getting divided. The company was at fault as they dressed the two new members differently from the rest and made split screen parts only showing the original members. Its a good song but with a sad story honestly (in any possible way). That's not the reason why the group lost members though at all. It's also not the controversy (just a small detail people noticed at one point making things worse)
Bo peep Bo peep is the song that gave them popularity. The concept was crazy , the mv was weird af as there were two random people making out or sth (not the one you reacted too).
If it wasn't for their controversy Sugar free would have been the biggest hit in kpop! It was popular but it could have been even more. In the mv there are the 6 original members after Hwayoung & Ahreum left.
What's my name is the new start of T-ara as 4 members (Jiyeon , Hyomin, Qri & Eunjung) after Soyeon & Soyeon left the group and company. Its their first win after the whole shit around them cleared up. The encore & winning speech is heartbreaking. The girls kept crying , couldn't speak and couldn't even lift up their heads.
Now under no company T-ara is having their anniversary comeback with Tiki taka. The one looking at the mirror (wearing lots of jewellery) / pigtails is Qri and the one singing right after her is Jiyeon. The one that u said has charm is main dancer Hyomin and the one singing the 2nd half of the first chorus is Eunjung.
Your new favourite member seems to be Jiyeon hehe. She is an actress as well so you might see her more in the future if you watch Kdramas. She is the most popular member of the group and considered one of the prettiest kpop idols of all time!

In both drama mv series they have many popular actors featured and some of the members appear acting as well! In the ( ) i have the members that play the main role for each song.
I have so many recommendations for every group as I'm a huge kpop lover the past 10 years! Starting with groups like After school, Rainbow , KARA , Ladies code , Crayon pop etc..
* As for the scandal/controversy its better to not get into it because its messy. The company was at fault but no one could really see it (even up to this day). Fans , non fans and antis are biased and blame specific people for no reason. As someone who tries to never be biased I can tell you that the company is messed up. A similar situation occurred with another group of their company called 5Dolls so yep.
A brief extremely simple explanation: People thought Hwayoung was bullied by the original members after seeing a few tweets from them shading her. Things escalated a lot (even throughout the years)and got twisted. Hwayoung never officially said she was or wasn't bullied (company probably didn't allow her to make an official statement). By the end of the day the girls didn't bully her and it was proven that Hwayoung had an attitude towards the stuff that took care of them and lied about some things before. All in all , fans hate on Hwayoung and call her snake (sth they called the other 7 members before the truth was revealed) and keep hating on her up to this day. My opinion , everyone was at fault. The girls shouldn't have made the tweets , Hwayoung shouldn't have lied/hidden the truth and the company shouldn't exist at all. (they are known for mistreating and not protecting all of their artists) [That's like 1/5 of the story but just wanted to get you into the mood]

It is one of their most popular songs that they released earlier in their career.
"I Go Crazy Over You" and "Time To Love 2"is also a really popular one from them as well, so was missing it on here :) but love everything else
