  • „We cannot discriminate anyone based on their ethnicity, especially at this time, when people went through such terrible experience.”
Zola Kondur, Roma Rights Activist from Kyiv and co-founder of the organization Roma Women Fund Chiricli, managed to leave the country just before the start of the war of aggression in Ukraine. “All Ukrainians are standing together at this time, regardless of whether they are Roma or not,” she explains in the interview. However, she is aware that some Roma refugees have experienced discrimination. Whether people offer food, a place to stay, or simply a sympathetic ear - it is all a great help, she says and thanks everyone who is providing support.

You are very welcome to support the work of the Aid network for the survivors of Nazi persecution in Ukraine. We are part of this Aid network and collect donations for example to evacuate survivors of Nazi persecution and their families in Ukraine.
