I heard that they deleted it because the lyrics made fun of Violet's organs being sold after here explosion. Why didn't they just re-write the lyrics,or brought back "The Blueberry Bounce" from the London previews,or wrote a new song? I like When Willy Met Oompa,but it doesn't fit with the context at all.
I am so late but I think Alex Jennings is good but during It must be believed to be seen, when he says “So don’t get left behind” he says it in such a villainous way, I just don’t get why.
Are--Do you--Do you even-- The plot of this musical is that the kids get punished and LEFT BEHIND. He's giving them a warning in a villainous and subtle way, since he makes it SOUND like they won't want to get left behind and miss out on the wonders of the factory.

@@AndresGodoyMagaldi I know, but they did write a new song for the UK Tour. They should've put When Willy Met Oompa after Augustus goes up the pipe.

Violet is probably scared of what the oompa loompas are going to do to her by the lyrics more than the fact that she is a blueberry.
