Thanks for doing these, liked and subscribed. Saul should do his own RUclips acting class, ala Michael Caine's Acting In Film. Personally, I got cut out of my first film, "Mississippi Burning"which went on to win an Academy Award for Cinematography, and is easily the best Civil Rights movie made. It stung to get cut, but I already figured it could be cut because none of the principles were in it, and it didn't move the story along. But it was fantastic working one on one with the late great Sir Alan Parker, and couldn't be prouder meeting Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe who I spent a couple hours in a bar with just talking acting and films with. Great experience, and was my first of many. Plus, 36 years later I still get residuals.
Were his scenes filmed and cut or was he cut in the screenplay? He's one of the main characters in the book so the role was probably cut down to fight narrative sprawl. Too much in the book to cover in a film. I read the book after seeing the movie and was surprised at how central his character was.

Very cool that you got to do that with Dafoe and Hackman. Two of my absolute favorites.
Jed Kramer
Assistant district attorney 😂😂😂😂
Did I miss why his scenes were cut?
It was cut from the video.
Depalma has his tentacles in everything Saul does.

Licking ones lips continuously, makes you think that Reptillians are excellent actors on many levels
DePalma was laughing because he knew he was going to cut all Saul's scenes. Joke is on Saul. But, not really.
Shitty movie
