Do you think there is any place in the Christian kingdom we are building for Fantasy entertainment, such as a new series of books similar to what the Chronicles of Narnia was for our generation, or a new type of game that could rival Dungeons and dragons, but which is built by Christian men for Christians and for Christian storytelling, and myth-building? And Patriarchy isn't "forced obedience". It's the proper ordering of leadership as given by scripture. I've recently read Wilson's book "Reforming marriage" and there's nothing in there about forcing women to do anything. It's about the responsibility of the man and his duty before God. There's also plenty about loving your wife and your children.

I think it's great that women are trying to reclaim domesticity. I for one have been spending the last several years since being home trying to do the same. It's uncomfortable in this society and there is a lot of backlash. But there's always going to be a counterfeit of everything. For the first 9 years of marriage and 4 of motherhood I was under the impression that it was completely normal to drop my kids off while I worked a 10 hour day. Someone else could raise my kids, someone else could clean my house. When I woke up ( because of Christs intervention) turning that around was and has been uncomfortable including submitting to my husband as the head of the household (which is what the Bible teaches). We need to be celebrating the fact that women are trying to bring back the home fires and be obedient unto the Lord.

That's awesome to hear. My wife will be leaving her job at the end of this month. She (and I) were similar to you, didn't really think much about her working all day and dropping the kids off at school. Although our kids have always been in a private Christian school.
I've been blessed that she happily embraces the roles of men and women, and I've grown as well in fulfilling my role as the head of the household. It's very easy to ignore the submission aspect as long as I can ignore my responsibility to lead... but in reality it's bad for everyone, we were just ignoring it. Thankfully, we've both been corrected by scripture, around similar times, and are ordering things rightly now.
I've even heard her telling other "Christian" women that it's the man's role to lead, and wives are to submit and be a faithful helper. You can almost see the jaw dropping of having no way to respond to something they likely have hardly ever heard, let alone from a woman. But her sister has hold her plenty of times about how she "wishes she had a relationship like ours" or "wishes her house was ran like ours". But when my wife tells her "well this is how we do things, because this is what scripture says..." it's usually a response like "yea... i don't know...." and the topic changes.
I suggest your husband read Reforming Marriage by Doug Wilson. The better he leads, the easier it will be for you to follow, and I know that book helped open my eyes to my responsibilities and how I had been falling short. Assuming he would be opened to it and seeks to lead as well as possible, and wouldn't take the suggestion of that book as some type of indictment on his leadership.

My wife is leaving her job at a community college. She's watched it decay over the past 15 years into exactly what Vox Day describes in his book "Corporate Cancer". Nothing but diversity hires, open anti white racism, no accountability and the place is kept afloat by the handful of people who actually do their jobs, and work extra to make up for the lazy people. We've been talking about doing it for a few years, and working to get to a better financial situation, but you can always go "well we're not quiet ready yet, we need to do a, b, c first..." Then when a b c are done, you have d, e, f that should be first too...
So we've procrastinated for a couple years. We decided we're doing it this year, we'll just make it work and trust God. She's got a few weeks left and she's out of there and I couldn't be happier.

I believe what he's saying is, what if, at the beginning of the founding of America, what if there was too much deism, enlightenment ect. I think he's on to something. He said, maybe there should have been more explicit language talking about the 1st table of the law. Perhaps he'd say, maybe at the founding, it should have been MORE explicitly Christian wording in the documents. Like Jesus Christ is King over this land. I think that was assumed, but maybe it'd be better if at the founding, things were more explicitly "Christian"

What is “red pill?” Is that from the transgender movie “The Matrix?”

    • @romscar77
      @romscar77 3 месяца назад

Red Pill is indeed borrowed from The Matrix movie. And the term Red Pill is only a place holder term until a more accurate term becomes available. So, where by through observation and experience one comes to the realization (and conclusion) that the belief system they once held is not entirely true. And that the magnitude and degree of how wrong they were is directly proportional to the amount of trauma that occurs in its wake.
Red Pill is a praxeology. Not an ideology. Not a philosophy. And not a movement.
That said, in the context RP presented here, it has to do specifically with men realizing that the societal rules, checks and balances, and formula of traditional (biblical) marriage (but not necessarily marriage) is an 'old set of books' that they were taught. This 'old set of books' was replaced with a 'new set of books' brought about by unfettered hypergamy and we now have a gyno-centric social order which is the feminine.
Eric did an extremely poor job straight away (even mocking) in describing the RP. The question and his answer appears very much like a setup to discredit one of the more rigorously studied aspects of our human psychology by using binary extreme and using an outlier as an example. Exceptions don't make the rule (except for Jesus. Lol! But I digress).
Brian did a much better job and was much closer to describing RP. One of the things he was incorrect about is that RP is new and reactionary. Man-to-sphere was a name originally meant to be derogatory and belittling but was adopted for a time (and so nullifying) and is now more like a man-o-swamp.
So I can't blame Eric or Brian too much based on the majority of RP content being produced. If one is actually interested in learning more, and I don't really recommend it (because you can't un-take the red pill. You can't un-know. You have been warned.) then read "The Rational Male" by Rollo Tomassi and his subsequent books. And read "Why Women Have Sex" by Dr David Buss and Cindy Meston. And check out James Sexton interviews on RUclips.
The other guys really didn't know much or enough to speak on it. Which is why the whole video quickly moved to away from RP. Plus, to discuss Red Pill in actual is to discuss very uncomfortable truths about humanity, our loved ones, then ultimately ourselves. There are very few prophets and many many more sheep ("we like sheep have gone astray").
Finally, I am a Christian and desciple of Jesus the Christ. I am for marriage as God intended. I cannot recommend how we do marriage now. It has become an unconscionable contract. The above is a result of years of study from Evo-psych, Evo-biology, biblical study (and Bible school), my own experience (divorced after married 20 years and 2 kids then "zeroed out" through The Divorce Machine known as family law), the observation of my friends and acquaintances getting zeroed out, and certainly not least knowing a few men who have un-alived themselves because the dissonance of their RP moment was extreme.

And where, in scripture, do you get any of that?
Theyre both workers and servants. That's how marriage works. She does her job and he does his job. She serves by providing food, a stable clean household, he serves by providing the income necessary to do that, and likely the physical projects like building things, repairing things, etc.
When Paul was writing to Titus and Timothy, did the believers have maids, cooks, etc? That's just a silly thing to say.
The woman submits to the man, the man loves the woman and submits to God. That's the biblically prescribed roles. The man is responsible to God for leading his family, she is responsible to God to be a faithful helper in that mission.

How would not living in the world of Paul change scriptures call for women and their role?
      One example:
3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
This applies today, even if the aren't butchering animals or splitting wood, seeing as how neither of those things (or any specific activity) is prescribed. "Working at home" can be many things. Cleaning, cooking, homeschooling, "side hustle" type jobs if she's fulfilling her role already and just has the time/desire to do more. This is such a weird argument, I'm not even sure what you're arguing for.

The problem with allowing a religious sect to take over and impose their theology as the only theology allowed by a government is that it denies the basic human right of being able to choose for oneself who you will follow this day.
It is no different than King Nebuchadnezzar demanding that Jews obey his god instead of their own. Certainly with freedom people don’t always choose what we want them to, but even the Bible says that “broad is the road that leads to destruction“. To your best to be a role model, but if you think that you are going to force people through the straight and narrow by the power of the state, you are incredibly mistaken.
These so-called pastors are just charlatans pretending to understand Christ, but entirely missing his actual message. Oh I heard here was how terrible the United States is with its freedom and it’s incredibly blessed in the world, but why don’t you spend a year living in the Roman Empire if you hate the culture of the United States so much. These are spoiled brats who don’t understand that in this country we have the freedom to preach the gospel more so than we have had freedom ever in the history of the human race. But yet they complain. I don’t know if you’ve read the Bible, but it says that the world has fallen, and these guys act like if they can only have their way, that the world can be good. There is only one that is good and that is God himself.
These guys are incredibly off-base with their theology and ideology. And it is so disappointing. Just because the so-called other side is wrong doesn’t make these guys right.

*The 5 points of CALVINISM summarized:*
*1.* "God" in his sovereignty creates 100 souls that hate him, totally depraved although they bear his image.
*2.* Before giving them life, he lovingly chooses 96 to be in hell forever.
*3.* In his infinite mercy he sends “His Son” to die for the other 4 that remain. Those whom he has chosen, because he is sovereign, because he wants to.
*4.* "God", with great love, forces the 4 to believe in his “Son”.
*5* Finally, two of them finished the race well, one ended up tied to pornography and another, getting entangled in sin, ended up worse than he was. But “God” forces them all to enter in Heaven.
If God says that he has died for all, *it is that he has died for all:*
    *Isaiah 53:6* ; *John 1:29* ; *John 3:16,17* ; *John 4:42* ; *2 Corinthians 5:14,15* ; *Romans 5:18* ;
    *1 Timothy 2:6* ; *1 Timothy 4:10,11* ; *Titus **2:11* ; *1 John 2:2* ; *John 12:47* ; *1 John 4:14* ; *Hebrews 2:9* …etc
Let us be very very careful, lest we be found liars before God.

Weakness in church leadership and the church's influence on society are major contributors to those issues. Seems they're focusing in the right area to start correcting these.
