after being subscribed to this chanel for about half a week now i just looked up what asmr means. i just subscribed because watching the skyrim videos made me feel really calm and nice which now makes sense...
The NES controller is unbeatable. Awesome clicking sounds. When I had my "Famicom" in Argentina, the controllers looked horrible. I always wanted to have this one.
Yeah, I love the NES controller, such a classic, iconic look and feel. I've never used a Famicom controller, but looking at pictures, it seems like the cord comes out of the side? How could that be comfortable to hold?
great video, love all the sounds controllers and even keyboards make.. and i must say, asides from the d-pad the 360 controller has gotta be one of the best!
yeah the d ad is a bit too squishy and a bunch of them used double a batteries instead of being rechargeable like the dualshock 3 but other than those thinga it is a great controller
Not sure why but everytime I see your avatar I think it's some faceless guy with a helmet on haha... then I realize it's just your microphone :P Anyways, great video! love controllers sounds :)
Haha, fair enough, it kinda looks like that at first glance. I should probably change my avatar to something more unique to my channel, but I'm not sure what, so I guess the mic will do for now. I'm also a big fan of controller sounds, and I hadn't really made such a video yet (unless you count my GBC videos). Glad you enjoyed it!
You're right, I don't think many people will have a use for Steam boxes right away. I suppose its useful for people whose TV is too far away from their PC to hook up via HDMI cable. I think it will also provide an interface that's much more usable with a controller than Windows. But really, I think Valve is playing the long game. They have a vision for a future where all games ship with native Linux support, and the PC is a fully open and diverse platform. SteamOS and the Steam machines are their first step towards that. Whether it'll pan out or not is anybody's guess. All I know is that I've got a powerful gaming PC, but I'll probably be buying/building a Steam Machine of my own anyway. I love the idea of a compact and powerful PC under my TV.
***** I love the idea of my pc working on my TV to its just i think it would work better if 1 it was cheaper then consoles and they have it sat at the same price as a xbox one and 2 if they could set it up so that all games work on it. my pc is not the best and i have payed for games and not have them work . if they can make it like consoles and have every game run no matter what. all i have to do is download and play no worrying if the game works with the graphics cards or drivers i have. i think it would be able to go toe to toe with the xbox one and ps4. It just as of right now valve hasn't told me why I should buy it over the xbox one when its the same price. still love the controller. Merry Christmas >.
AnimeFreak5445 I definitely agree with you regarding pricing. A couple of 3rd parties have announced $500 Steam Machines, and at that price they *may* be able to compete with the new consoles in terms of raw performance, but they'll still be lacking the usability and advanced features (i.e. Kinect integration, voice control and such). More importantly, as you point out, they'll be missing native support for the vast majority of the Steam library off the bat, which is probably the real deal killer for most people. When you consider that, a Steam Machine doesn't look like a very compelling choice for the average user.
I just found this stuff and I love it. I have Aspergers does this have any relation to that? I feel this calms my mind and is amazing. I always loved touching things this way and I never knew why and then I find this simple, but complex idea of ASMR. It is really interesting and I plan to research more into its amazingness. Thanks you!
Welcome to the wonderful world of ASMR! There are still a whole lot of questions surrounding what it is, why some people experience it and others don't, and so forth. I've talked with a few other people who experience ASMR and also have Aspergers, so maybe there's a connection there for some? As ASMR enters the public awareness and becomes more popular, some people are finally starting to seriously look into these sorts of questions. Maybe one day we'll have some answers! In the mean time, thanks for checking out my channel; I'm glad you enjoy my videos. Happy tingles :)
Isn't that the best feeling? When you're starting to think you've lost your tingles for good, then one day you come across just the right vid, and they come flooding back. Glad I could make that vid for you! Happy tingles :)
Yeah it's great. But I think you might be the only person who makes in work anymore. All of your vids last night is the only thing that worked. Then I tried going to some of my favorites Like asmrchick and ephemeral. And I even tried like all my favorites. Bubble wrap, mouth sounds, etc. But out of all of them, your vid worked. This has been going on for months and there are very rare times (like one in a hundred) the video will work. Any recommendations?
Dodil Gamez You probably won't find this to be a very satisfying answer, but my best advice is to try to stop worrying about it. I find that if I'm thinking about triggering, it won't happen. My tingles come when I empty my mind and just let the visuals/sounds wash over me. If I'm worried about not triggering, that though process blocks the tingles from happening. I also find that I become desensitized to a particular video once I've seen it more than a few times. So I guess my recommendation is to try not to worry about losing your tingles; they WILL return sooner or later. And check out some new ASMRtists, or even new triggers. Sometimes a new person's mannerisms are just what the doctor ordered for setting off my tingles. I hope that helps a bit!
ASMR fan comment: man, you very quickly became one of those people i look forward to seeing in my subs and get very excited when i do. usually the channels i feel that way about are the ones i feel have particularly good attention to detail; i dunno just thought you should know i appreciate the videos! Pokemon fan comment: if you ever wanna battle or trade pokemon, my friend code is 4570-8063-6750 i don't really breed that much or have anything crazy like shinies, but i'd certainly consider breeding you a special mawile or scyther because i have some with nice IV's and some sinister beginning movesets
Dunno how I missed your comment before, but thanks for the kind words! And thanks for the Pokémon offer. I have a shameful admission to make: I haven't even finished Pokémon Y yet, let alone got into IV training or breeding. Been loving the game of course, playing it bit by bit before bed, but as for your generous offer I'm afraid I don't have anything worthwhile to trade to you!
FoxyKing93 ® I've since had a chance to use both, though not extensively. I think controller preference is a really subjective thing, and has a lot to do with hand shape and size.
iNuja6es I am a troll because I think Xbox controller is the better one? Really masterfull thinking. You better should not to say anything just before grow up :)
FoxyKing93 ® reread your original comment then come talk. Pathetic, what's even more pathetic is that you wanna start talking shit on a asmr vid. Grow up

Love the videos dude, always glad to see one of your videos. Maybe lower the volume of your intro thing just a little bit though >_
Agreed, the intro blip was a little loud in this one compared to the rest of the vid. Should be fixed in my next video.
Good to have you back and merry asmrtinglesmas nerd .^,
Thanks, great to be back, merry tinglemas to you too!

i remember getting blisters on my thumbs from pressing the buttons on the nes to many times when i was a kid xD
Still don't know who the steam box is for cause i can just hook up my pc to my TV but the controller looks cool.

Lol you turned on your xbox while pressing buttons
So you heard wrong. Xbox One controller is way better than dualshock 4. I have both and I must say that Xbox wins as always in this category.
FoxyKing93 ® I've since had a chance to use both, though not extensively. I think controller preference is a really subjective thing, and has a lot to do with hand shape and size.
I've never seen a troll go so low to even attempt to troll an *ASMR* channel..
