He also lost in an elimination home game to a Spurs team missing Kawhi. And the Blazers. There’s no shame in his playoff loss to OKC in his first year as a Rocket, nor his loss to the eventual champion Lakers in the bubble (although he was bad in that series as well). But his loss to the Warriors in 2019 came without KD for most of the second half of game 5 and all of game 6 (in another elimination game at Houston). And he was awful in back-to-back elimination games as a Sixer to the Heat in ‘21 and the Celtics in ‘22 (neither of those opponents went on to win a title in those seasons). I won’t even count his Brooklyn run against him due to injuries and Kyrie’s vaccine-saga, but nothing in his playoff history suggests that he would’ve for sure been great for them minus the injuries. Harden’s playoff struggles have been about WAY more than just his battles with Golden State.

Nick has points about some of the numbers about Lamar's playoffs shortcomings but like he said, he missed the playoffs the prior season and they easily get passed the Bengals with him that game.
Its hard for Allen to play is worst football in the playoffs when you're throwing the game away the regular season. Lets be real.
I don't think Russ or Jalen are good comps either. Russ had an all time great defense and great running game. Also much better weapons. Russ didn't play like Lamar either. Jalen not only had a much better offense around him but also got a Niners team that played CMC at QB and the Giants. They got blown out by Baker when they played an upright team this year. Peyton is the right comp for Lamar. Already a Hall of Famer, top 15 of all time without a ring.

Kinda crazy how the guy who’s got 2 MVP’s catches nowhere near as much criticism as the guy with no MVP’s and on a far more dysfunctional team

More absurdity from Nick. Lamar’s playoff struggles through his first six seasons are literally IDENTICAL to Peyton’s. He won a SB eventually and so will Lamar.

you may be absolutely right, but Peyton got criticized until he won. best regular season QB ever. remember those talking points because he always blew it in the playoffs?? tell the whole story, not just the side you like. Lamar deserves the criticism until he wins. yall act like somebody’s lying on the man. 2 time MVP but trash in the postseason. I hope he corrects it, I’m rooting for him, but the criticism is valid

@@miamimercenary9623 The criticism WOULD be valid, if it was fair. You can criticize anyone, but Nick (and other racists) go beyond to attack Lamar's character and credibility as a QB. They literally condemn his career and project him as a failure forever. It's overkill character assassination.
