@@b00ts4ndc4ts Hey, I'm excited for you to read it. Unexpectedly, this book has the side effect of making one a nicer and more evolved person, too!
In terms of sifting through all the noise and getting onto a solid learning curve, I'd recommend subscribing to The Behaviour Panel RUclips channel, so you don't miss anything. Its like scheduling a regular 'workout' for your mind and observational skills. You'll get four world-class experts, each with very different perspectives.
When you subscribe, you get notifications of the 'live premiere' of each recorded show, during which Chase Hughes, Scott Rouse, Greg Hartley and Mark Bowden interact in a live chat as the show airs. The 'live' thing adds good fun and community dimensions to the learning curve too. Just as valuable is that these weekly shows give you your own barometer to gauge how your own knowledge and comprehension is progressing. (This show has been independently described as "the highest and best use of the Internet.")
Understanding how, why and what people communicate (including what you project to others) is the ultimate life skill, in my opinion. For this reason, I'd also recommend subscribing to *Peter Hyatt's* channel and starting with his older videos where he uses a standing flip chart. He is the Elvis of Statement Analysis - the use of words to determine what is being communicated, identify deception, truth, lack of confidence, a person's priorities, etc. The Peter Hyatt book *'Wise as a Serpent, Gentle as a Dove'* opens the world up in a new way, but is also a great bedrock upon which to gain even more value from body language teachings and learnings.
In terms of other books, solid and logically foundational ones are:
'The Naked Ape' by Desmond Morris
'What Every Body is Saying' by Joe Navarro
'Unmasking the Face' by Paul Ekman
      '6-Minute X-Ray' by Chase Hughes
Depending on your motivation to learn more about interpreting human behaviour, there are other books that would be logical follow-ons. Good ones are:
'How to Spot a Liar' & 'The Most Dangerous Business Book You'll Ever Read' - both by Gregory Hartley.
Curiosity question, Gareth... *why* does this topic interest you?! (For my part, I am just insatiably, ravenously greedy for competitive advantage in business! 🤭

And it's felt suspicious that a # of the "perps" of these socio-political shootings have been mild mannered, shy, introverted, outcast, sometimes emotionally suffering gifted/autistic kids who ordinarily are kind, without a bone of malice in their body. Then we find out they had crossed paths with some Blackrock or black opps entity at some point, potentially being offered the candy of flattery, opportunity, fame, social service & meaning, use of their skills, status, etc. The attempted assassination shooting this month in PA by this rookie shooter kid who was a do-gooder at a nursing home, accompanied by stunningly "incompetent" SS actions & non-actions & amaterish incompetence, made me think MKUltra again; hypnotism; patsy use; etc. This is all so well articulated here by Chase. As a European we’re well educated on situations that happen in every country, including the states and when I try to tell americans that they are not free, at all, some look at me like i’m nuts. Ur gov. uses u as guinea pigs - ur water is dirty, ur soil, ur food, ur medicine, ur air, educational system is abysmal, no free healthcare, pensioners and veterans are homeless in vast numbers. We don’t know the meaning of homeless here. I’m Serbian and we have 1 year PAID maternity leave, if I have twins, I get 3 years PAID maternity leave and my job back in both cases. Everyone owns their house here, retired population has free medicine & get 6 months prescriptions just so they don’t need to bother going in. Free government help for those who need them, we have out own pharmaceutical companies who make medicine, we have factories for pretty much anything. And it is vastly different, healthier than what u get in the states - starting from cereal all the way to something unhealthy like energy drinks.
Now, the states is even worse than a third world country & the government wants everyone divided, wants everyone to not belong anywhere, turning the country upside down. There are soooo many situations that America did and does to the detriment to it’s own people that it is hard to believe! About some situations films have been made:Erin Brokovich, about ur water contamination, I Care A Lot about ur nursing home “legal” scams, and of course The Manchurian Candidate as mentioned here. I could go on and on (prime example being 9/11) and many many other horrifying things that have happened. Because of ur government. By ur OWN government. And until americans understand that and stop hating each other and come together, go back to family values, this sick system will be winning, and entire cities and states will continue to die. U guys need to wake up! 🙏🏻

Chase, thanks for this deep dive. Everything you say is true, and thanks for mentioning George Estabrooks. Here is an entry from my own extensive hypnotism bibliography:
Estabrooks, George H. "Hypnotism." E. P. Dutton, 1943, with 10 printings by 1955; new edition (revised) 1957, and at least one more printing by 1959. Hardcover with dust jacket; early printings in pale blue cloth, revised printings in red cloth. Plume, 1959, reprint. Paperback.
This book seems to have been quite popular, going through at least ten printings in 16 years, from a very well known mass-market publisher. However, it is extremely difficult to find it in the used book trade, and copies in less-than-steller condition, with torn or missing dust wrappers, have been known to fetch prices in the multiple hundreds of dollars. This has led to the unproven theory that at one time someone (cue the CIA) was buying up copies to use or to remove from circulation because the methods proposed were of national security importance. At the risk of sounding a bit like a nut case, i think there is some truth in the legend surrounding Estabrooks' "Hypnotism."
To begin, Estabrooks is not telling you how to put your friend in a trance and have him crow like a rooster. He is all about post-hypnotic suggestions, hypnotism in crime, hypnotism in warfare, and, as he puts it, "This Man Hitler." Yes, he deals candidly and frankly with "forbidden" topics, such as mass hypnosis and the creation of suggestible killers. In his opinion, hypnosis is not inherently "safe." It can be used for nefarious purposes -- and he will show you how!
It can be said, with some basis in fact, that this book, with its emphasis on mind control, was the springboard for the CIA's running of the notorious MKULTRA (Mind Kontrol Ultra) project of the 1950s and 1960s -- the top secret program that (may have) brought us two Kennedy assassinations, the King assassination, and the widespread use of LSD-25. George H. Estabrooks definitely opened that door. If nothing else, his ideas formed the basis for the semi-factual film "The Manchurian Candidate." See also Lesley Kuhn and Salvatore Russo, for another look at down this same rabbit hole.

You absolutely touched my heart as you ended this video. This world *is* a beautiful place, we have been blessed with the life we were given, and I agree, the majority of people in the world are good and kind. As a mother, and just a human, I despise the fact that the most vulnerable, those who have had a childhood trauma can become victims of this. So much good could be done with it. I don’t believe the programming ever stopped, unfortunately with elites like the Vanderbilts (as an example) are still at the top of society, and there’s stories out there of the most recent family members who are not nice, or good people, but who perpetuate this evil cycle. That harm is still being inflicted, and just the simple research any conspiracy theorist - like me can do on the internet tells you the stories that are enough to give you nightmares. You’re a good guy Chase, and highlighting Sirhan’s plight is just the top of the iceberg of the need to open others eyes to what is happening in our world, and I thank you for being one of those light workers, for using your knowledge to help others. I’ve no doubt you downplay of the acts of kindness you have done in your career and life. I have close family members who served & the effects of PTSD are horrible to watch happen to a loved one. I wish I could take away the pain one member in particular is suffering.
I believe Tesla was a victim that I’d like to know more about. I’ve read up as much as I can on him, but I’m sure I know very little of his plight. His documents and work were stolen by the CIA immediately after his death. He wanted to work for the good of humanity, but he couldn’t be bought. His work while he was alive couldn’t be commercialised, and his death was a tragedy in my mind.
Post WW2 a lot of nazi scientists were given new identities and given top jobs at top agencies. These are the wrongs that need to be put right in our world. These are some of the things that make me sad, that I wish weren’t true. Power, control and ultimately Greed is truly a sin.
The human mind is an incredibly fascinating thing for me. Through deep meditation I am able to reach different levels of consciousness, this can be a highly positive, and beneficial way of living life. It is something which I use in my daily practices of my journey with my spirituality. I have had such wonderful & positive experiences that I cannot explain to another, unless they have experienced something similar themselves. I’d be interested to know your thoughts, and any work you may have done on this subject.
Thank you Chase for this enlightening and thorough look into something that has been your passion in discovering, and for sharing the truth with us all. I look forward to reading much more of your work very soon. Much love 💕

    *A question for Chase* regarding 29:26 - 29:50 :
So, is being in a _flow-state_ related to 'self hypnosis'?
That kind of sounds like what's being talked about here.
If so, I can see the potential relation, but it also seems somewhat counterintuitive from my own experience.
For example: I'm a high-level drummer (man, I hate saying it that way). I play extremely technical music that involves polyrhythms, which is where a different rhythm/pattern (and even time signature) is being played on each separate limb independently to form one very complex drum-beat. (It's like rubbing your tummy while simultaneously patting your head ×1000.)
People often ask me how I'm able to write, and play (let alone remember) such music, and I often tell them something very similar to what I heard in this clip. I first say: "Lots of practice & repetition", but then I explain what a flow-state is. I tell them that when I'm _in_ my flow-state it's as simple to me as playing the most basic rock beat. I don't view it as the hyper-complex thing that it is, or have to focus on each individual limb/pattern at the same time (though I can if I want to). It becomes a feeling to me, just like how everyone feels music, and bobs their head, or taps their foot.
With that said: At the same time, I'm extremely hyper-vigilant, and hyper-aware of everything I'm doing. I _can_ pay attention to each note played of each independent rhythm/pattern that I'm playing with each separate limb, all at the same time, in real time. It's quite hard to explain, but essentially it's almost like being in a trance while being hyper-vigilant at the same time.
What I'm getting at is: Are people who have a hyper-vigilant/hyper-aware flow state less likely to be hypnotized (whether with, or without consent), or more likely?
If you read this, thank you for your time. 🙏

I think being able to get into flow gives you more personal insight/experience with various states of consciousness and anything that does that is important in building defense against suggestibility? Do you do other forms of meditation? I find lots of forms of meditation to seem to help defend against marketing,/mind control. ...Or I'm programmed to think that way...😮😂

As part of a protection mechanism, a child will learn to 'emotionally disconnect' from the people and surroundings. This frequently happens in cases of profound trauma. The child learns simply to 'not be there' emotionally. They go through the world never developing bonds, compassion and so forth. This protects them from trauma.
I studied CIA reporting of torture techniques whereby trauma actually can cause a person to create an entirely new personality. What the CIA would do is electrocute someone. However, they would drug them in a way whereby they could not pass out to relieve themselves from the pain. So now, the person will literally disappear - become a whole other person - in order to not feel the pain!
In summary, when the pain is great, people can disconnect emotionally to avoid the trauma. If the trauma is frequent there is a significant probability that the person will permanently disconnect. Now they will go through life unable to experience compassion or empathy for others - Even for their own spouses, etc. This was a condition developed as a protection mechanism.
Many pathologies can develop out of this such as malignant narcissism, etc. The victims of this sort of disassociation fail to develop 'bonds' with others.
In the most extreme cases, people can actually develop an entirely new personality when they feel trauma or stress. All of these strategies - disassociation or multiple personality - develop as a sort of protection mechanism. It's like a form of psychological ketamine!
Because man’s motives derive out of the unfathomable recesses of his unconscious mind - which communicates with symbols - it is understandable how early man developed mythologies of demons, angels, and other spirits to help explain away the unknown. Civilized man is EQUALLY possessed by his inner demons. Nietzsche writes, “Man is the sick animal.” Unfortunately, contemporary man suffers from a remarkable lack of introspection. He is blind to the fact that, with all his rationality and efficiency, he is possessed by “powers” that are beyond his control. His gods and demons have not disappeared at all; they got new names. They keep him on the run with restlessness, vague apprehensions, unhealthy compulsions, psychological complications, an insatiable need for pills, alcohol, tobacco, food and, above all, a large array of neuroses. It is the job of the psychoanalyst to help man exercise his inner unconscious demons. The purpose of Jungian Psychoanalysis is to help the patient uncover his repression systems and thereby release himself from their pathological influence and resulting neurosis. If you do not pursue your demon, your demon will pursue you
Anthropologists have studied how primitive peoples recorded a phenomenon called “the loss of the soul” - a mental derangement or disassociation of the consciousness. Many primitives referred to their unconscious as a “bush soul” - A kind of integrated identity with nature. For those of the Paleolithic era, their unconscious was a unique, separate yet integrated identity. For both the primitive and the modern man, the onslaught of unmitigated emotions can precipitate a fragmentation of the psyche. A trauma can be so uncomfortable the conscious mind forgets the memory of it in an act of self-preservation. Despite the conscious compartmentalization of the trauma, it lingers there in the unconscious mind - very likely causing a histological degradation to key components of the brain. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a condition where some trauma has remained hidden within the unconscious mind. This hidden or repressed trauma can be released by some “cue” or “trigger” - auditory, visual, olfactory - which causes its memory to come flooding back with such ferocity it temporarily immobilizes the patient as he thinks he is actually re-experiencing the incident at that very moment.
Highly traumatized children will frequently develop a hidden personality - a shell of protection - for which they remain until the clinician coaxes them out of their compartmentalized shell. In some cases, childhood trauma is so great, the child retreats into a symbolic castle tower or inner fortress - where he or she remains often for life. Unfortunately, once a child enters such a realm of safety their development is entirely arrested - Forever a child, they never age psychologically whilst hidden away in the protection of their inner sanctum. These children remain in a perpetual state of infantilism or childishness even throughout their adult life. Although this “disconnection” began as a means of psychological protection, ultimately it is a prison. Such patients never integrate very well with others because they are “up there” in the tower - Rather than “down here” with the people. This type of dissociative personality actually prevents people from fully understanding the body language and facial expressions of others and prevents these individuals from integrating well with the group. It wouldn’t be incorrect to view this as a type of “psychological schizophrenia” - [Which is not the same as an organic schizophrenia which follows slow, progressive & sweeping cellular death of cortical matter within the CNS]. In my medical practice I have seen many of these cases misdiagnosed as Asperger Syndrome. Where Asperger’s typically includes an element of intellectual retardation, on the other hand, “psychological schizophrenia” secondary to a permanent psychic disconnect following childhood trauma is a “psychological retardation”.
For a number of decades, the U.S. CIA has funded, developed and operated a great number of human behavioral modification and reprogramming projects. One of the earlier efforts was entitled, Operation MK Ultra; in an attempt to create assassins and “Manchurian Candidates”. [Summaries & transcripts of these efforts and others can be found in published records or message me for the footnotes.] Current CIA work in this regard has demonstrated that humans spontaneously develop alternative personalities as a form of psychological protection when inflicted with profound pain, such as electroshock, and chemically prevented from losing consciousness. In short, psychic disassociation can follow either psychological or physical trauma. Once a split in the core personality occurs, an “internal world” can be created and alternate personas can be forged. CIA workers in this field frequently deploy visual and/or auditory symbolic triggers - which are readily interpreted by the unconscious mind - in support of their reprogramming efforts. For example, a CIA subject watching The Wizard of Oz is taught that “somewhere over the rainbow” is the “happy place” dissociative trauma subjects must go to in order to escape the unbearable pain being inflicted upon them. Using the movie, programmers encourage subjects to go “over the rainbow” and dissociate, effectively separating their minds from their bodies. For the clinician, studying CIA findings in this regard helps elucidate the mechanisms of trauma that derive multiple personality disorders (MPD).
Similarly, modern man protects himself against trauma by a system of mental compartmentalization. By this process of unconscious repression, certain painful memories & interpretations remain tucked away in separate hidden drawers or compartments; yet secretly influencing his self-concept, choices, and outward behaviors.

I spoke to a Psychologist who specializes in things like cPTSD.
EDMR, which isn't exactly hypnosis, and some other therapies have been extremely effective IF done by the right person. Big IF.
I've contemplated hypnosis, but, in my case I was asked if I truly wanted to know. At first my answer was, "Of course!".
I've blocked out years of memory during different stages of my life.
However, after consideration, I made the choice not to do it. For me, personally, I don't think it would at all be helpful because dealing w it would literally be too hard. It's hard enough dealing w the things I DO already know.
      We're all different though. :)

@@michellemooresings That's EMDR. Are you sure it was a psychologist speaking on CPTSD? It's still debated among psychologists and psychiatrists, but "therapists," who can be anyone, use the concept. DO check into self-hypnosis; I've done so since I began checking into such things at the tender age of 11. You needn't go to anyone; just find the information online, and get started. You needn't go back to unpleasant memories, but can use what you learn to help yourself better deal with things today. It also can help memory of, for example, school material. For me, I learned how to flip between states of consciousness, so that I could read cursorily through a textbook, forget I'd learned the material, put myself into a sort of trance on test day, and remember everything. I was a nosy kid who, at the age of 11, found a relative's "weird books" section of the family library, and began reading on mind control, brainwashing, self-hypnosis, etc.

Using affirmations can be a form of self-hypnosis. Affirmations can help retrain our thoughts, including to do the things we know we should be doing. But affirmations are kid stuff compared to what's out there. Find the information on self-hypnosis online, and practice! It can get pretty wild, when you see what your mind is capable of!

So interesting and such important information about hypnotism. As a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, I can say that most of my clients have expressed fear about hypnotism because of their fears about mind control and being made to do something they don't want to do. I have always explained to them that it's a tool and it's all about the intention of its use. Ethics are incredibly important when a person is in a state of hypnosis because of their vulnerability during that time. Thanks for your video and the intriguing topic.

What an astonishing video: it has made my day. I am always impressed with your level of expertise at "The Behaviour Panel", but this film is simply outstanding: thought-provoking and loaded with tons of very rare and valuable information. It's incomprehensible how little do we know about things that are possible to do with a human mind and what a double-edge sword such technics are. Great thanks for this episode, Chase, - for sharing the knowledge and for the impact it will have.

Have your clothes laid out for tomorrow the day before. Chase mentions more but bedtime and rising a the same times are a very good start and effective. I hope the above helps you.

Still think the connections of study, the locations and populations they were doing experiments on, and the very close connection between some of the agencies, money to fund select psychiatrists, and certain people we know were subject to experiment that went on to be infamous.
