Some of these questions are just ridiculous. Usually when your manager is not available, you can report to your skip, there is always someone to report to, so rarely you have to make a decision without telling anyone. Somehow having a close relationship with my colleagues and managers and a healthy work environment of not working on weekend came back as a disadvantage for my job search.
