You guys have done a beautiful job on your nursery. 👍👍👍👍👍Awesome inventory. 👍👍👍. just an idea. Order some small quantities of larger plants until yours catch up just to have a few on hand just in case a landscaper comes in.maybe you can be a drop off or holding area between wholesaler and landscapers and make a few dollars in doing so? Just thinking outside the box. Beautiful job. Larger evergreens will fill those empty spaces. Mother plants are great to have in ground for propagation as they grow much better in ground. Hope some of my suggestions are helpful. It's my goal to help from so far away. Wish I was closer to give more hands on help though. I love playing in dirt. Lol
I started my Nursery and sold my first plants this spring thanks to all your advice! I hope to have an even bigger plant sale next spring and have been trying to learn how to propagate various plants. Thank you for all you do and i hope that 1 day i can grow my nursery to the size of yours 😊
You've become a very good at talking to the camera. I know how awkward it is in the beginning so good for you!👏👏👏 Are you going to sell those arborvitaes on QVC?
Thanks for sharing I really enjoyed the tour I just love how your nurserylooks all of you have done a great job I can't wait for your next announcement
I learn soooo much from you !!! You’re truly a great inspiration 🤗 I’m embarking on my own garden / nursery adventure and all your tips , tricks and tutorials help me greatly ! Thank you for all you do and all the time you take to make these videos ! You’re absolutely invaluable to the plant industry and to us your loyal followers ! Cheers to all your successes thus far and everything more to come !!! We’ll be here with you all the way ! Stay blessed ♥️🌟🌿🌱🌿🌱🌿
Looks great you have came so far so fast. We always tend to be forward looking as entrepreneurs and see where we maybe haven’t completely exceeded our goals. But keep taking time to thank God for blessings already received. I feel you folks already do that which is so important to keep perspective. Thanks for sharing all that you share to us online. May you continue to be blessed and renewed
Thanks for the tour, it was very interesting to see how things have progressed since you started the nursery. Have enjoyed all of your videos. I divided some of my hosta's to plant in other areas of our property and give away to family so thanks for the lesson on dividing plants. Have a great rest of your summer.
Great tour! ....and my husband has those exact same shorts, rips and all!! - LOL!! Are you planning on putting in some display gardens? I'm so jealous of all your flat, open space. Keep up the great work.... and excited to hear about the announcement.
Looks fantastic 🌱🌱💚 From your backyard in Tennessee too a full grown Nursery in Alabama 👏👏 Thank you Craig and family for opening your Nursery and sharing your journey with us. I've watched and learned from you on how to model our first year Nursery. Closed it for the Season this weekend. Doing what you are doing, working on propagating and potting up for next Spring. Planning on opening in the Fall 🍂 🍁 🎃 We love weed barrier too! Planted a large pumpkin patch with weed barrier base. 🍁🍂🎃🎃🌱 Thanks again and congratulations 🎉 🎉
Question for you "Mr Savy" lol. When you lay down your weed barrier, should the ground that will be under it be clear of any grass? I've seen people doing it both ways, so not sure if one is better? You would think the grass would grow through it if not removed. But have heard the weed barrier will kill the grass underneath.
You have done a great job building your inventory. I am struggling with planting mother plants. While I do have a 3 acre yard, I am trying to keep it looking more like a garden. And when I do layout and bed, The deer prune my cuttings for me lol. I will not get any silver dollar cuttings now. Do you have problems with the plants in your grow out area have different watering requirements? I may have to do different areas for like plants.
What do you use to mark the labels? Permanent markers fade in the Sun. And where do you buy them please. I have so many plants I divide and will be selling them to make some extra money!
Craig, yiu mentioned that Flat Top Shade house was 60 percent. May I ask what percentage are tge hoop houses. In southern Oklahoma, 40 percent is not near enough to keep my plants from frying. Thank you.

Such a great job you all have done,I have learned along with watching your videos ❤😎Fl viewer
I’m so jealous of your ability to bury water lines a foot deep. Ours here in Nebraska have to be 5’ deep by code to stay below the frost line
Looking good.
I dont know what the announcement is but I'm excited for your family! y'all are such a bright spot here on the youtubes.
Thank you so much!! I appreciate the kind words.

You would think the grass would grow through it if not removed. But have heard the weed barrier will kill the grass underneath.
Do you have problems with deer, rabbits or other critters eating your plants? If so, how do you keep them out of the whole nursery?
No major problems. The dog helps some, when she's not being the problem herself.
Those bigger pots get expensive fast don’t they?
It’s looking great.
They get valuable fast, for sure/

Watering needs? Not to speak of... nothing obvious
What do you use to mark the labels? Permanent markers fade in the Sun. And where do you buy them please. I have so many plants I divide and will be selling them to make some extra money!
Cant think of the name of it, but it's made for plant labels and doesn't fade. Also, pens made for livestock ear tags work great
you need 100k in green giants...all sizes... even ship to NC...and wholesalers...I wish I were younger...
working on it

In southern Oklahoma, 40 percent is not near enough to keep my plants from frying. Thank you.
I think they are 50%
How do you over winter your plants in pots for next year?
Most of them sit out in the weather all winter... rain, snow, freeze, whatever. Some get covered in plastic
@@savvydirtfarmer thank you!
❤
Where do u get the tags u use on you plants? I've tried to find things I can print off but no luck
I make mine in Canva. They can be made in any word processing program... very easy.
@savvydirtfarmer I keep putting in canva and only canvas comes up. Typo?
