It never stopped me, and even changed family members minds on blacks, and although they still have a little bias in them it’s a process. In 100 years the population will start to turn darker skinned like a Latino…. HE HAD A FRIENDSHIP WITH HOWARD COSSEL AND THEY HAD A MUTUAL RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER. HE WAS A PASSIONATE SPEAKER AND HAD GOOD "PRESENCE." KIDS LIKED HIM FOR HIS RHYMES AND FEISTY COMMENTS. THIS PUBLIC SPEECH ACTUALLY DREW ATTENTION TO THE DRAFT, WHO WAS BEING DRAFTED, WHO WAS GETTING COAST GUARD DUTY OR A CUSHY ASSIGNMENT AWAY FROM THE ACTUAL WAR. THERE WERE MANY PEOPLE OPPOSED TO THE VIETNAM WAR. THINGS RELATED TO THE VIETNAM WAR ARE OPENLY TALKED ABOUT TODAY. (GOOD OR BAD.)

If it was so bad why do some older blacks say they were better off then compared to now? How did former slaves make more money than the slave owners as song writers, musicians and faces of products that the "racists" used?
