Not bad. I'd only be worried i wouldn't line the hood up correctly but I suppose i could do one side, close it, double check it's still good then do the other side.
@@CDLNEPA Yeah, I saw a Ranger driving down the street the other day and thought of your channel and wondered why Ford would make these two trucks. Seems like they are in direct competition with each other, but I have no idea.
The Maverick is actually Smaller overall. The passenger area is larger but the bed is shorter. I wish I could get my hands on a Ranger for a video comparison
I wonder if it's possible on the "bottom" bracket can be more fully secured by placing an additional screw on the "first hole"? Otherwise an excellent video!
It's a preference for me as I stated in the video. I work outside on my vehicle regardless of weather, and that metal prop rod will not secure the hood as well during windy conditions.
I have a set, they are great and easy to install.
cool... what molded hood deflector is that ?? make and model please.. thanks
It was from Ford and I believe discontinued
What kind of a hood guard do you have there.
The Ford one. They no longer sell it

It was easy enough to line it up with the paint on the hinges/hood. Ford painted it with the hinges already attached.

Can you do a comparison to explain the difference between the Ranger and and Maverick?
Like in another video?

So far it hasn't really needed it.
They work fine the way they are.
Awesome information 👍🏻
Hey Chris. Thanks for sharing 👌
Thanks for watching
Great video! Really like the Ford Maverick especially that red color - may end up getting one.👍👍👍
I love the Hot Pepper Red
Heck yeah nice and easy
Great little upgrade. Looks good too.
Made it easy to do my oil change
Stupid question, could this void the warranty
Not sure how it would unless you damage the hood some how istalling it. Outside of that I wouldn't think so.
Cool but I don't understand the need for something like this. The metal bar really doesn't get in the way from my experience.

Nice simple upgrade. I love the hood struts on my truck. Definitely a must have if you work on your truck. Well done! Great video🤙
Thanks 😎👍
