    Nothing's impossible! TENGGER CAVALRY teach the greatness of every sound symbiosis.
    With a mighty mix out of Mongolian overtone singing and violin empowered folk metal these New York mind blasters create something special and unique. Their nomadic fighting spirit helps to fuse unworldly cultures in harmony - and that's the spirit! Multi-cultural development, acceptance of diversity and individual freedom. With their music as a deputy: Distorted guitars and doublebass-blastings hit this very own singing style out of Central Asia. With the Mongolian horsehead fiddle aka Morin khuur these extremes got stuck together to a thrilling sound. They were so gripping that they have already been on two headline tours through the USA and appeared on CNN as well as in the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Here it is: their sixth record "Cian Bi" - the name of an ancient nomadic tribe that immigrated into Northern China to merge cultural differences.
    Like TENGGER CAVALRY: Never heard before! This is innovation surpremely.

    Story behind Cian Bi tribe:
    CIAN BI
    鲜卑 One of the earliest pre-Mongol tribes that migrated from Siberia into Northern China, Cian Bi people went through a long and glorious history of conquer,
    separation, cultural conflict, cultural adaption and self-identity redifine.
    After abandoning nomadic life style and transforming into farming civilization, their history and legend are still to be told.

    This is some of the weirdest metal music I've ever encountered on RUclips, and I like it! It's energetic and positive, rather than trying to be dark and "edgy". It makes me want to get on my horse and ride off into the sunset!

    All the haters are funny: You try mixing quiet string instruments in with loud drums and guitar. It's not easy to do without compressing the hell out of everything. To me, there is nothing wrong with this song.

I think last time Tengger Cavalry music is not for everyone, totally different style than times ago, 100% different than for example Golden Horde of Wolf Ritual, more melodic! I personally love it and appreciate your work, seeking for new way. AND WISH YOU GOOD LUCK! About the drums - see a lot of negative emotion! I have to say they are mindfucking xD but after 10 listens they find their place.

      I love their concept. I've never really liked their vocals in terms of combining throat singing w/ English lyrics. I prefer the instrumentals, but I think it all still works together in a sense!

    • @jasonfox6924
      @jasonfox6924 6 лет назад +6

      I liked the fuller sound they had in their original recordings. The songs were longer and the instrumentals helped tell their stories more. This one song in paticular is closer to their beginnings, but man the old stuff almost had a symphonic/folk feel to it and I really miss that.

      I'm not sure that cleaner production is always better. Sometimes a more raw sound gives it a different character and makes it more visceral. I mean Bathory was never clean even when they moved away from black metal and when getting in touch with their ancestry, yet if it was clean it'd ruin it. For Tengger, I'd be interested to see how they sound 'clean' so to speak, like you have with 'The Hu' who just emerged, but honestly I love it rough around the edges here. And when I saw these guys at Wacken, it was incredible.
