Story behind Cian Bi tribe: CIAN BI 鲜卑 One of the earliest pre-Mongol tribes that migrated from Siberia into Northern China, Cian Bi people went through a long and glorious history of conquer, separation, cultural conflict, cultural adaption and self-identity redifine. After abandoning nomadic life style and transforming into farming civilization, their history and legend are still to be told.
I know the Mongolians have heart, they are related to my people. They went East from The land of the West, some worship Wakan Tanka. But I do not see how melding into the Genre of Metal and joining this group should help anyone fight darkness? Better fully to show one's heart, and play more Traditionally. Anyway, Namaste to the "One".
This is some of the weirdest metal music I've ever encountered on RUclips, and I like it! It's energetic and positive, rather than trying to be dark and "edgy". It makes me want to get on my horse and ride off into the sunset!
Love the Mongolian throat-style vocals. I first heard it performed by a very beautiful Mongolian Lady. Been fascinated by it ever since. A most unique band; destined for the big time. 🤘✌️🖖😊🤗♥️
All the haters are funny: You try mixing quiet string instruments in with loud drums and guitar. It's not easy to do without compressing the hell out of everything. To me, there is nothing wrong with this song. I got a FEVER and the only PRESCRIPTION is more JAWHARP!!!
I just stumbled upon Tengger Cavalry, and I'm hooked! I love the metal mixed with Mongolian folk music. So badass! You have immediately become one of my favorite bands, up there with Lamb of God, Pantera, Soulfly, and Hatebreed for me. \m/
Ooooh... Once great men lived here... giants... gods... once, but long ago. It is here that I met my master. It was no accident, nor it is mere chance that I am the teller of his tale.
I just bought the physical cd of this after listening to your Live (Denmark) interview a few mins. ago. So much of what you said resonated w/me, about mental health & animal bonding.
Brothers this song really helped me out alot listening to this song HELPED ME DEFEATED MY DARKNESS AND I WANNA FOREVER THANK YOU AND THE REST OF THE GUYS 100% 6ara düü nongxai tony I REALLY WANT TO THIS SONG TO DO THE SAME FOR OTHERS OUT THERE TOO WHO MAY HAVE THEIR OWN BATTLES FOR I KNOW THAT THEIR RESPECTED FAITH WOULD ALWAYS CONQUER THEIR DARKESS DAYS AND DEFEAT ANY DEMEANOR THAT MAY BE STANDING IN THEIR WAY AND OVERCOME IT WITH ABSOLUTE TRIUMPH! !!!! YEEEEEEE *BLUETOTEM* ♡
it's so freakin' awesome to hear different instruments being used in metal. even the hmm mouth organ(?) forget it's name, but damn that sound is interesting, love the different sounds mixed with electric guitars.
Love your new songs. I saw you a few years ago and liked you then, but you have really found the energy that was lacking a bit before. You sounded great at the Hi-Dive in Denver.
Throat singing seems like a great match for metal, great sound. I would like to here a song with more vocal up front as throat singing creats a distinct sound
Video is IMO great and beautiful, absolutely eye-catching, this calm moments with moorinhuur is perfect and soul-catching. I think last time Tengger Cavalry music is not for everyone, totally different style than times ago, 100% different than for example Golden Horde of Wolf Ritual, more melodic! I personally love it and appreciate your work, seeking for new way. AND WISH YOU GOOD LUCK! About the drums - see a lot of negative emotion! I have to say they are mindfucking xD but after 10 listens they find their place.
To me, Tengger Cavalry always had a good potential, but they're deffo lacking a cleaner production and better songwriting skills. I'm sure they'd do wonders with the right producer.
I love their concept. I've never really liked their vocals in terms of combining throat singing w/ English lyrics. I prefer the instrumentals, but I think it all still works together in a sense!
I liked the fuller sound they had in their original recordings. The songs were longer and the instrumentals helped tell their stories more. This one song in paticular is closer to their beginnings, but man the old stuff almost had a symphonic/folk feel to it and I really miss that.
I'm not sure that cleaner production is always better. Sometimes a more raw sound gives it a different character and makes it more visceral. I mean Bathory was never clean even when they moved away from black metal and when getting in touch with their ancestry, yet if it was clean it'd ruin it. For Tengger, I'd be interested to see how they sound 'clean' so to speak, like you have with 'The Hu' who just emerged, but honestly I love it rough around the edges here. And when I saw these guys at Wacken, it was incredible.
I know that Nature is the main force behind Tengger Cavalry but it seems a bit ridiculous that he constantly has different members for every album, every video. Can this guy not hold a solid lineup or what?
Sure, but he still is switching members a lot long after he immigrated, so it must be something else. Not that I'm complaining. Tengger Cavalry is awesome no matter who's playing in the band.

Maybe Try looking for epic or epica metal if you’re after more uplifting and empowering metal.
then you should try power metal and folk metal, you might like it
@@wlobba I do like some folk metal (especially Korpiklanni) and I like Sabaton.

thanks buddy. that's awesome of you to say that.
😲 RIGHT?!
Some people say, "Needs more cowbell."
We all say, "Needs more jaw harp."
Put that on a t shirt and I'll buy it!
this is why music is so great, all this variety and difference coming together.
Not sure why the comment section is complaining about the guitar and drum tones. Sounds fine to me.
thanks for the feedback
Drums are kinda different, thats what make Tengger Cavalry sounds more 'war' or 'tribal' - wild and extatish, awesome.
right I love it and feel it is very unique.
Because it's easier and more convenient to criticize than to compliment. To me this sounds really cool!
Assume in my personal opinion and I'm 50yrs old this month
Brilliant as always, love that multiple different instruments get their own solos on this track
drfaust5fc You’re a hacker this song came out 2 minutes a go. You commented of this video 15 hours ago

If you're not on board with this, we're leaving you behind.

The song is stuck in my head for 3 days now, very experimental and very catchy, especially the main guitar riff
