Lovely Cathedral. I went on a tour through Europe. I am Catholic. And the bus tour didn’t leave me “free time” to go to Mass . I visited Pisa, Milan, Florence, and Rome. Never got to get to Mass.🤔🙄😀 My Dad was like “what the heck you visit Italy and the Vatican and never went to Mass”. That Cathedral so beautiful. We are going on a cruise in April, 2025 that stops at Livorno. We looked for your excursion to Pisa and Cinque Terre with Shore Excursions, but only saw a private excursion at $240/person. It's like we're cruise buddies already! We didn't have a port stop in France, but if we did we 100% would've used the same shore excursion company, they were just great!! Pisa and Cinque Terre both is huge to do both. True story: my mom when we wanted to go to Pisa asked the hotel about "pizza". I'm like mom.... "Pisa. Not Pizza"... It's a bit touristy, and the vendor stands outside are a bit much. But it's still worth it. Cinque Terre has amazing views if you walk the paths on the cliffs.
I love Italy 🇮🇹 the door innthe cathedral would be for access to the bells .they have to be tuned .cleaned to ensure they stay in perfect condition .where i am in the uk thats what ours are for so im assuming the same .
This is so cool. What did you think of the other leaning towers in Pisa? Did your tour guide take you to Campo Santo? Of course, if you went to Manarola, you wouldn't have skipped the touristic antipasto at Nessun Dorma
I just took a tour on our cruise to Portifino by boat took us to 3 stops..I’ve been watching Portifino and we went there..I was like you both could not believe I was there..going by boat is amazing…I love you guys are having a great time…beautiful pictures…❤

Pisa probably leans because of too much pizza and pasta 🤣 Hahaha it's actually due to a foundation issue, but was structurally fixed back in the 90's, inside there's tall steel beams keeping it from falling (we show it when we first walk inside if you want to see them). Pretty crazy though it never collapsed before then.

Awesome video! Going on cruise w royal caribbean in Sept was wondering what was the exact name of this excursion on shore excursions group website. I see two - "discover pisa and cinque Terre maranola with leaning tower" vs "pisa and the jewel of cinque Terre on your own". Ty!
I London sometimes you see a guide with an umbrella 🌂 or a stick 😂😂 I tried looking up about the door with the steps on both sides but came up empty, but i did find out that the cathedral leans a bit, too. And was rebuilt by the Germans after a lighting strike. ❤❤❤❤XXXXX

I'm really liking this tour of Pisa area and looks like you're really enjoying a vacation of a lifetime. I'm concerned with foot fatigue you'll probably have just wearing sandals, hope you switch to footwear with more ankle support for those hours of walking. I would just wear those sandals on the cruse ship.
Thanks for the tips! Luckily, the tours have offered plenty of sit time (breaks/ free time on the tour, traveling on the bus) so surprisingly our feet aren't as fatigue as we thought they'd be. So happy you enjoyed watching it! This was our favorite video yet we've ever made 😃

We are going on a cruise in April, 2025 that stops at Livorno. We looked for your excursion to Pisa and Cinque Terre with Shore Excursions, but only saw a private excursion at $240/person. Pisa and Cinque Terre both is huge to do both. True story: my mom when we wanted to go to Pisa asked the hotel about "pizza". I'm like mom.... "Pisa. Not Pizza"... It's a bit touristy, and the vendor stands outside are a bit much. But it's still worth it. Cinque Terre has amazing views if you walk the paths on the cliffs.
Hahaha that's hilarious!! 🤣 Yeah we're definitely very happy that we got to do both,, can't imagine if weren't able to, but so glad we did!

I love Italy 🇮🇹 the door innthe cathedral would be for access to the bells .they have to be tuned .cleaned to ensure they stay in perfect condition .where i am in the uk thats what ours are for so im assuming the same .

I just took a tour on our cruise to Portifino by boat took us to 3 stops..I’ve been watching Portifino and we went there..I was like you both could not believe I was there..going by boat is amazing…I love you guys are having a great time…beautiful pictures…❤

How cool was it to see everything you saw. That is amazing all that marble. Never knew that. So why does Pisa lean?
Pisa probably leans because of too much pizza and pasta 🤣 Hahaha it's actually due to a foundation issue, but was structurally fixed back in the 90's, inside there's tall steel beams keeping it from falling (we show it when we first walk inside if you want to see them). Pretty crazy though it never collapsed before then.

I went to the Pisa in June too. Very hot. I went on a EF tour. Paris, Rome,Venice, Switzerland was first. Florence , Monaco it was very hot.

I'm really liking this tour of Pisa area and looks like you're really enjoying a vacation of a lifetime. I'm concerned with foot fatigue you'll probably have just wearing sandals, hope you switch to footwear with more ankle support for those hours of walking. I would just wear those sandals on the cruse ship.
Thanks for the tips! Luckily, the tours have offered plenty of sit time (breaks/ free time on the tour, traveling on the bus) so surprisingly our feet aren't as fatigue as we thought they'd be. So happy you enjoyed watching it! This was our favorite video yet we've ever made 😃
