[Looks at Firestorm] yea, that went down well, people were literally queuing up to NOT play that BR. Unless the BR is for the Pro League, I think DICE are wasting their time, and shows that they still don't understand what the player base want.
No Dev ever left the company because they were so happy working there: Ask yourself one question, "why did the original Devs leave?".

Battlefield having a f2p br done right would be huge people that say it won’t suit a battlefield game ain’t using they’re heads , you could make the class system matter even more making it team oriented where every class matters , the medic being the only one who can bring players back to life , the assault supplying ammo and the engineer fixing a broken tank , imagine levolution events happening like a earthquake , a storm rolls in with tornados or a tsunami taking away sectors of the map pushing you to a final sector of the map that you have take control of the same way in conquest for a extraction that comes in that you have to fight over , you could have the score streak system from bf5 making you’re killa streaks and you call ins score based , the potential is huge , even add the fortification system

This proves the devs don't listen to the consumer. Everyone that plays battlefield are literally dangling what should be done in front of their faces. Yet they go with what is popular at least for a younger player base pushing the existing player base into the garbage can. Go back to your roots battlefield.
BRs are so oversaturated now. No one wants yet another one. Especially in Battlefield. Marcus leaving is not a good sign of things to come. At this point, they might as well just put Battlefield on ice for a decade or so and try again then. No need to keep destroying BFs now tarnished legacy. Only thing that could help the franchise at this point would be to just give us an updated re-release of Battlefield 3. Look at what they are doing with the OG Star Wars Battlefronts. Myself and my roommate are beyond excited for that. I want that for BF3.
Not surprised they want to keep trying to dethrone cod. Honestly don't want it but if nothing can be done to oppose it let's all hope its a possible competition to force both titles to actually bring fresh content to the table.
However, if DICE had a brain they would be listening to all of the desperate cries for bad company 3. Not battlefield br

I hate BR as much as the next guy, but if done right this is only a good thing for the franchise. Battlefield is dead as fuck after 2042, EA DICE need to do something to target a wider audience and get new eyes on it, my only concern is if the BR gets too much of a push from EA and takes over the identity of Battlefield, like Warzone has for Cod, that is 1 thing we do NOT want. As long as both MP and BR get equal support across the board and brings in new players it's honestly a W. I have 0 interest in BR but we will have the MP to play like normal, I just hope the MP development isn't influenced by the BR and is a proper traditional Battlefield experience, the BR can exist on the side but should not be the entire marketing or focus of the game.
If they focus on making something like 3 or 4, then the playerbase will return at full force. The bringing in of a wider audience is why the franchise is suffering. No originality.
@@rexman971 There's honestly no originality either way. With a game like BF3 the new generation kids will complain it's dated, and when they add a BR or some other bandwagon mode to the series the old fans will cry about selling out and chasing trends. If they can pull it off it's best to have both, cater to both sides.
@@Nitroh- Problem is the company will chase the money. If BR succeeds, they'll work on that and not focus on what made battlefield great in the first place. Same exact thing is happening to COD as we speak.
I've skipped out on Battlefield V and Battlefield 2042 for obvious reasons. So long as they continue to push Fortnite inspired garbage into battlefield games, I'll continue to play Battlebit. If they want a Battle Royal game so badly, why can't they make a totally different and new franchise for it?
The multiplayer mode in the next battlefield remind me something familiar, 6 in a squad vs other squad team, 24 players in a map fully destructible with missions and objectives to do elimination mode… but in military modern settings… Mmmm The Finals inspiration …? 😮
