There is not a shortage of food. There is a problem of increasing birth rates in non-Western countries that tend to be least able to provide a food supply that matches their growth. Conversely Western Countries are ever increasing production of ultra processed foods which is killing their population. Happy days. Bon Appetit.

I would also question whether there is enough mass (despite their numbers) to be a useful food sourse. Perish the thought that we should start cultivating them. Presumably, to 3D print food, you will need a 3D scanner - teleportation!

Well, as a Doctor I have a difference of opinion... EVERYTHING DOESN'T NEED A SHORTCUT AND TIME-SAVING.....specially when it comes to what's going to reside in our tummies for a while??? These upcoming technology based-products involve mechanical approach & do not even contain the nutrition you eat for. Even if they start the production holding the nutritious values, processing and additives to the the animal stem cells to finally taste like the real steaks and meat, will be like eating a dead organism's meat whos genetic make up was still underdeveloped.... please search for the concept of stem cells , they are good for treatment of various diseases like Arthritis and cancers....and are still under research even to be used for cure... and here they want you to eat them just for their PROFITS....and most of all , there will be more Cancers and mysterious diseases in future generations. Loving the Organic and Mother nature is the only Healthy option
I travel to Asia once a year eat lots of bugs, crickets are roasted ( great for snacking) lots of protein and can be made into flour it you get Americans 2 try it most will like it, grubs and worms its a texture thing for most Americans textures will cause people to hate it. Ants tasted like black pepper not bad nothing special, and scorpions I had just once and it was like twigs.

Hey, I liked the video! I will certainly watch more by you guys. But there is just one thing that bothered me. Have you not like at all taken veganism in consideration? I'm not vegan nor vegetarian (yet), but it is a growing trend and it might be better to our living in the world if we all went vegan someday because, you know, animal rights and that stuff.
