SO GLAD I stumbled upon this video! I just got into Happy Planners/disc bound BuJo for 2024 and my current planner set up seems so chaotic, but I just couldn’t put my finger on why. 😵💫
Definitely gonna utilize the transformer planner setup this weekend so I can have a cleaner slate and less planner chaos when planning and using my Happy Planner for the rest of the year and beyond!! 😍

I bought all of the happy planner layouts off of Etsy so now I just buy happy planner notebooks when they’re on sale so then I get new covers, discs, blank dividers as well as paper… definitely cost effective

OMG seeing you get rid of so many bridgerton pages made me cry. The bridgerton stuff is TO DIE FOR in my opinion.
I'm like, live reacting at this point but the transformer planner idea is WOW SO GOOD! I had 2 covers I couldn't choose between so I bought both and this is exactly what I needed!
They are beautiful! If I didn't decorate my planner and just used it as is I would keep them in there but it's too much going on to also decorate with and I would feel like I needed to match it all ALL the time which would get very boring. I did keep everything I took out though 😊💜

I have been trying to formulate in my mind how to DIY my own “ultimate planner” is what I was mentally calling it lol. I was concerned about the sections becoming too bulky. However, seeing this “transformer” concept of creating it is NEXT LEVEL!!! Thank you for sharing!! I will totally be doing this (at some point) 😅😂

It’s nice to feel the connection with someone who openly admits to being OCD. I used to feel like the oddball when someone would notice certain things that I did but I’ve learned that more do have those things than don’t. I feel like it shows that certain things are important and I will do the extra steps to fix it to suit me and clear my head. I’m also not a person that likes change but I am really doing my best to be more open to it; kudos to you for the changes in the discs. I love them; excellent choices.
OMG I had never heard of a transformer planner. I just tried it out with my 2024 planner and I love it!! My mood changes and often I want to change the cover. This is genius! So easy too!!
I love this! I had two separate planners (personal and business) so I was always carrying around two planners. Now, I have them all combined into one. Thank you for walking through the steps slowly!!!
I love the concept of a transformer. I want to design some fun extra pages, but keep them separate from my daily journal, and so this is a great way to add them but separate them at the same time.

Welllll, I am a bit late, have had low low iron so 2024 has started off sleeping a whole lot and at weird hours. 😴 Anywho, this transformer planner is a game changer, I have the first 3 months of 3 planners and it is just right. Thank you so so so so much for showing us this. Thank you! 💕
You could copy the original Monthly page on the original divider and then glue it down.
you could also copy the monthly side of the green divider and tape it to the front of the dark monthly. then you keep both dividers.
That's true! I got rid of my scanner though so this way works fine, especially since it's not for all the dividers and just a few have the weird double tabs lol
I love pretty divider tabs, and customize used divider pages by gluing prettier paper to them, especially so I can repurpose the spent half-of-a-two-page-spread. Love rhat my work-life HP is now glorious with alternating grapic florals, stripes and polka dots in pink/white/black. I've designed and printed custom monthly spreads to try out, in OneNote, love love love. (I print on scratch paper or regular printer paper first to try it, then on a nicer weight for permanent use).
Also typing up projects, because mine require a fair amount of tweaks and adjustments: so much easier to edit and reprint, and see the whole scope of projects in one place! I can choose which ''next actions'' easily, and jot them onto a weekly and/or daily page. (excellent section to have in a Transformer Planner, imo!)
I keep extra discs in snack-size re-sealable plastic bags right now...a lot easier than chasing loose ones when they fall!

After I watched you I got my 2024 planners and did the transformer thing in mine. It is genius!!! I love it!! I showed it to my daughter who plans also. She flipped for it. Thank you for sharing this with us. Also I think I’ll frankenplan for the first time. I use a big vertical and love it. I also use a classic dashboard. I wonder if it would be ok to frankenplan them together. I don’t know ow if that would get on my nerves. O well.

I love the colorful discs but for me my spreads are so different week to week those colored discs might not go with certain spreads I do... So I stick to white gold rosegold silver or clear
That's totally valid!! Sometimes if it bugs me, I'll move the spread to a different planner or notebook with the color discs that go with it so when I take a picture it looks better 😊 I didn't have to do it much this year but it's probably what I would do in the new year 😊

What if you got a mini printer and made small pictures of your family for the photo reels in your memory planner

Put a piece of card stock between each row to keep your discs from rolling into each other.
Rather than use 2 month tab sheets you can use the other half of the matching monthly half and then use the rest of the other weekly pages for the month. Hope that makes sense.
hmmm not sure what you are meaning. I didn't like the month tab of the main planner I was using, but liked the way the other tab divider looked from the other planner (Bridgerton planner) . But the Bridgerton planner doesn't have the monthly pages I like because they aren't neutral like my main planner. So it will always be the left side (the side of the calendar that's printed on the tabbed divider) that will always be the problem, hence why I end up having two dividers. It's not like that for the entire planner though because I did like some of the dividers and kept them as is :) So sorry if i'm not understanding what you were meaning! I appreciate you commenting :D
I so wish you sold your daily sheets printed...because I really would love to use them, but I don't have a printer 😢
When my printer was on the fritz I went to UPS or the public library to have a digitally purchased planner and some knitting patterns printed. I found both fairly quick. At UPS the person waiting on me was very helpful, while library was super inexpensive. Good luck.

@8304451833 i believe it was a notebook. It's been awhile so I unfortunately don't remember exactly. But I think it was either a notebook or a simply layout planner from walmart!

They're just the regular classic size discs that come on classic planners 😊
I've collected my discs from various planners and times they were sold on the happy planners website over the last 7 years 😊

Why don’t you just take the whole month from the Bridgerton one and put it in then you don’t have to glue and cut and do all that extra.
Because it's not neutral and has all the decorations on it which I don't like as I like to decorate monthly pages on my own. The decorations on those pages would mean I would feel the need to match it all the time which I don't like 😊

Is more easy printing the inserts and doing the dividers by your own. Well... For me.
Still being my monster cause I change and mix from horizontal to vertical just for fun. And add more dotted to notes and things to do and ideas in other division.
