Oh the sweet memories you are creating. This video was Superb!!! I've never seen real farm equipment doing what it does best....farm, so this was a Real treat for me. It's really amazing (to me) how all of this equipment works in real life as compared to FS. It was so cool. Really enjoyed this video that grass field was almost as big as the farm i grew up on it was 135 acres lol, look forward to more like this brought back a few memories, best way to grow up living on a farm.

Love seeing the real equipment and farmers out in the fields! All of those tractors look like they jumped right out of farm sim 22 lol. Also a massive field in the UK! Not like the typical ones you see in FS22. The going to and from the field was spot on to the online maps though.

Enjoyed the video. I'm from the states. Grew up on a 185 acre farm with additional 125 acres in the next town when we farmed... All we did was beans, corn and wheat.. really enjoyed the info you shared like the 90 acres being large in your area for example. One of the fields out here where I live is about 400 acres. Just like seeing different practices, especially from a different country. Thanks for the content. Glad I joined up while back

epic vid bud was a bout to say 90 acres and 3 on you need more than 3 on for silage in 90 acres and the Quad track awesome

Fantastic content you rocked flying the drone! Loved seeing the harvester looks harder then you'd think to aim for the trailer. Watching the field getting turned by the quad track was satisfying!

Like the video! You appriciate what farming/agri really is when you see it in real life. F.e. the impact of nature.
It would be nice to see more of these. I do think it is important that the real life video's contain some form of narrating and/or even with explainers. What are the challenges, why do they approach things, what is the impact of the tire tracks on the soil, what is the next action, how does this help the farm in the bigger picture? You are pretty good in the narrating (apart from of course the b-roll, editing, etc). Thanks!!
You are too kind Maarten, I'm lucky I grew up on a farm so have some understanding of the challenges, but I'm buy no means an expert, but being able to share the info I get from people like my dad and the guys driving the machinery, I think it's important to share that with you.
Silage season is extremely awesome but very intense. If the weather is good for 4 days then wet for the rest you can't cut. Normally the weather is much better than this but this year it's been very difficult.
Yeah it's been a rough start to the year, I take it you've been hit by the rain too Felix?
@@TheFarmSimGuy yea so I work on a farm near me. And we started the first cut on a Monday then collected it on a Thursday. Weather was good then it started raining the last field we were in. There was a 50acre field and the last field was I think 40acre field so some massive fields but we got it all on and covers over. But it can be a challange and rush to get it in and have to pick the right time to get it in aswell. By far though my fav time of year.
This is really appreciated and a wonderful video. That drone footage is top notch. In the future we might not be able to tell the difference between real and in game anymore lol!

I'm wondering as of late why...
Next to a combine, the forage harvester is one of your most expensive pieces of equipment. I wouldn't think to be that hard, but why Giants added some new mission / contract types, why them or a modder hasn't added contracts to maps for the harvest of chaff. Wouldn't need to be put into a bunker, but just cutting and hauled to a sell point. Reach out to a community manager, and see if this possible, when you get chance please.
It's a good call and you are right, should be no different to delivering grain or potatoes
