@@eddiebracetty2320 XV2’s can bust open new areas that haven’t been plowed. Hitting them with an XLS is like running into a wall. Being able to V, plus straight blade, plus scoop is great. The ultimate setup I’ve found is an XV2 with wing extensions. The extensions point forward and give you more scoop
@ i guess it really depends on your area and how much snow your pushing we do a lot of commercial and never really have to break through anything. I have a 8’6 xv2 with the wing extensions and just picked up a 8.5-11 xls this year and I’m really liking it it’s nice to be able to drive around at 8.5 feet and open up to 11 that also helps getting in between cars at some of our places where the xv2 wouldn’t fit because your stuck at that width. And with these commercial places your never in v anyways so to be able to fold in the wings and scoop around corners etc has been really nice for us
I would've left the mirror just because it was and don't cloud where you don't know where you are doing or how the ground is always look in the warmer weather of where you are going to work if you get snow
Couple reasons. First I was the only one working the weekend. Second where I was would’ve sucked the other truck in. Needed to sit on pavement and pull.
What a nice looking little school, it looks very well taken care of!! I'm sure the maintenance coordinator appreciates your efforts.

What was the bill for the wrecker
$300
@ not bad at all.
@ we have a frequent flyer discount
why don't you plow in both directions? Should put some plow stakes out so you can see the edge of the drive way
@@CoreyOBrien-k2e there are designated storage areas. Nobody plows in both directions
i know you have both the fisher v plows and the xls, which one do you like best?
@@tractordude290 XV2’s. Traded that XLS today for an 9’6 XV2
@@VTOutdoorServiceswhy do you like the xv2 better?

Why not use one of your own trucks to pull it out versus spending the cash on a wrecker?

Looks like you were a little late to the party. But better late then never.

That sucks.
The boss v plow is the boss
A lot of them around here. People seem to like them. I like their headlights
Ive always said if someone gave me a brand new Boss, I’d trade it for a used fisher.
@Rodger7a. Trade it for a western but same plow basically
