I would say the problem with blowing instead of sucking air, it that all debris will fly into the small fan behind and may stuck it even more. Reason why I recommend a vacuum cleaner
I replaced the thermister that I purchased from you. That did not solve the problem I’m having. I still do not have AC on drivers side. And the temperature is stuck on the hottest temp on drivers side. Also the vent in stuck on feet.
I'm not the Ebay seller, only posted the link. Do you happen to measure the old thermistor ? If the sensor was working fine, it is possible the problem is corrupted CCM software. A Volvo owner who had similar issues, eplaced the CCM with a used one - he was lucky to find one with the same software/year see last post on this page www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17478&start=10
CCM disassembly ruclips.net/video/Zis5WN_if60/видео.html An Ebay seller has what appears to be a sensor replacement (haven't tried myself). But before replacing your sensor, test it with a multimeter to be sure it's indeed the problem www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2014-VOLVO-XC90-S80-S60-XC70-V70-HVAC-Thermistor-8651244-30782330/274266146616?epid=1217840281&hash=item3fdb894738:g:5fMAAOSwP45eRd7k#rwid It is possible sometimes rather the CCM software gets corrupted. If you can find a used one from the same year and with the same software, it should work plug & play - see the last comment in this forum discussion www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17478&start=10
thanks for telling us the fan runs for ten minutes as I thought it was faulty and going to drain my battery!
thank you for posting this, can you use compressed air in a can to clean the sensor?

@@Peppermint1 ok, thank you, I will use a vacuum cleaner,
How do change ambient temp gauge from celcius to temperaure?
is the sensor soldered to the ccm board or does it plug into some pins? i think you solved my heated seats issue.
See the two wires, are soldered to the board - just remember which goes where
