Just caught the tail end of your premier. I really like your channel and productions. Thank you for sticking with it. Surprised to see so much brick construction in Gridley.
Very much enjoyed this outing with you April and the Cool Kids! Honestly, I thought my Lunches with you all were history with the Tue to Fri change in The TV guide! So this was an unexpected pleasure to see and being an Adult kid...I was trying to eat and type and watch all at the same time🤣! Desert Deb was right! I should have Tapped My Brakes and slowed down, but excitement hit my Bullseye and I was wound for sound! 🙃 Anyhoo...Gridley is really a sweet little hidden Gem! I'm sure the residents like it that way too but Kudos to them for extending help to those Paradise Fire Survivors! That Is Love! I shall come back to Ride along on this trip again too because I LOVE the background music! MOO From Jack Boy and his Butler Stu in COW-lumbus!
Just seeing what RUclips had on gridley, I lived there in the 70's. My parents owned a Western Auto, it was the shop across the street from the 1929 building. Will be traveling across the country next month to go there. My grandfather is buried in the Gridley-Biggs cemetery, and one of our mother's last wish was to be buried next to him...she will rest in peace in the town she loved so much
@@FindingNorcal yeah the big building you like is the backside of the old Butte theater the front entrance is around the corner, Used to go there all the time as a kid in the sixties and seventies
I was born in Gridley back in 1974, and moved back in 2000. I currently work at the Continental Athletic Supply warehouse downtown, behind the police station next to the Funeral home. I saw movies at the old State theater across the street from the police station. I attended school there, from pre-school up to high school. Everything is within walking distance. I'm related to about half of the people here.
The building, " my favorite Gridley building" Is the backside to the Gridley Butte theater. If you draw just a little further west and turn South, You want to find the Gridley Police Department on the west side and the entrance to the Butte Theater, on the east side of the road
The Paradise fire was just tragic - I found out about it and watched a lot about it in the months after half our Island burned down just over a year later.
The building across the street from the store that had the grad opening is where i worked it continental athletic supply they refurbish and wash helmets and shoulder pad for football 🏈
The burnt-out buildings was grain silos for storing grain like rice to be shipped out by train
Cool thanks Jon!
Yes then they moved the rice silo's to Biggs my friend works there
