Johnny was a family friend. He graduated Dublin High school with my Dad...dated my Aunt...I was always proud to call him my friend. He is definitely missed... R.I.P. John
I bought this on release in uk, not a big country fan, but this is fantastic..Duncan died of a heart attack on August 14, 2006, at the age of 67. Duncan has three daughters: Angela, Lezlie and Lori with his first wife, Betty Deisher, and one son with wife Connie Duncan, who survived him.,
How come I'v never heard of Janie Fricke I know most of the old country singers. Heard her sing on a mix xmas CD and her voice is one of the best i'v ever heard.she sings Angels we have heard on high and MyGod what a voice.
You hit that right on the nail. It's not even country on the radio now. I blame Garth Brooks and Shania Twain when they broke in calling themselve's country musicians. Garth had a couple of songs that could be considered country but most arent. Conway Twitty is my all time favourite, but at 50 years of age I'm still considered young for this old country/real country music. :)
Damn, Janie was such a beauty!
She still is.she still sings beautifully
Golden age of country music.
I always thought those two were in love with each other..

K-Man From all I've seen of him, he always seemed to have a kind and sorta shy aura about him. That's so cool that ya knew such a talented legend.
Dublin Georgia?
