- ever find yourself needing to draw a horse and don't know where to start? i gotcha. 🐎
(popping my Ps a bit in this one; i think it's time to start investigating mics. 😶 i hope this video gives you a few useful pointers in how to approach drawing a horse. i found making it was a nice refresher on my own know-how!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am a decent artist but I've never drawn a horse. All the videos I could find were step-by-step instructions on how to draw a specific horse. They were useful because they were practice, but I desperately wanted to know what the horse's "shapes" were. This video has been immensely helpful! Do you have any vids on 3/4 view, front view, back view, etc.? Or any on musculature?
So far I have discovered that horses are kind of delightfully weird-looking? They're dorky and awkward and yet somehow manage to be beautiful and majestic. Even though I'm still learning and my horses aren't that good, I'm finding that I really enjoy drawing them because they have such a quirky design that it's challenging but also very rewarding when I get it right!
I was keen for more horse facts and damn you really delivered with this one 🤯

i draw horses with the same general bone structure of cats (i draw cats both stylized and realistic 24/7 lol) but now you showed me that *that* may have been the reason they look weird- so thanks :D
