Beautifully deep enchanting real music ❤️🙏
The most amazing recording I've heard of Bonnie Prince Billy, and I know quite a few being a fan. World class songwriter and performer. Always manages to find the edges of love and pain. There is something just so pure about this music that it becomes hard to actually describe why it works, like with good poetry.
For me as well, My favourite record from Prince Billy, and perhaps my favourite album ever
This recording is sublime I want it to never end
thank goodness it does so I can listen to it again
Thank you for taking the time to post this.
33:58 - 34:09: best animal contribution to the art of music making ever!
Thank you for this.
This is SOOOOOOO good. Thank you for posting!
That dog bark at 33:58 tho. 🔥 👌
thank you for the generosity! this is great.... Bonnie Prince is great too!
What a great music! I love it.
..thank you for sharing this. i've been following will for decades now and i have listened to an amazing amount of his music...but this is really quite special.
No problem, dude! He's a great artist, and deserves a ton of exposure for it.
This is incredible
It's only Earthly sin, because it's Earth I'm in.
you're a legend, thank you!
No problem, glad you like it.
This guy is our Bob Dylan...the volume of work exploring different styles is unmatched. He's the greatest songwriter who no one knows
I understand the sentiment here but may i offer this?
If it works the way you're implying, certainly Connor Oberst is "our" Bob Dylan with a sprinkling of Robert Smith into the mix.
But to compare Will Oldham to a pop icon seems totally out of place. Dylan was truly just the pop icon of the day back then with his specific, external sources for inspiration/plagiarism. And yes, the day back then held more quality and creativity in general so the pop icons were simply much better than they are today. This said, Bob Dylan never, ever came close to this man's ability to draw upon himself for musical/lyrical genius.
Not coming down on you for your opinion or comment, just hoping to shine a different light on what we so easily and readily call greatness.
@@lazerlo I think maybe it sounds like you haven't explored Bob Dylan's catalog. You're being pretty flippant about something should require some more thought.
@@lazerlo Well Will Oldham is also borrowing (sampling as he says) as Bob Dylan is. Just search the interview where he talks about the creation of the song and you will see that Wills creative process also includes searching for inspiration in other songs, taking sentences from others songs and making them into something different, his poetry is not just from internal sources
I'm pretty sure mr. Oldham is anti-zionist.
Thank you.
Thank you. Bought this at a show and had no idea what any of the songs were called, and managed to guess which side was the A side.
No problem.
Great stuff. Criminally underrated artist. I love that cassette case. I want it.
agreed, he's incredible. though I wouldn't say he's all that underrated - Oldham is a legend :)
Thanks!
In my opinion Cal's Song and Song For Doctors Without Borders belong to the best songs ever written.
Awesome! Thanks for posting!!
Thanks for posting, was starting to think this tape was a myth
Never thought we were this good did ya darlin
Uma preciosidade: Lindo!
unbelievable
yes
Is this available as a download? It´s amazing!
Love how he just dispatches these songs onto the public and so quietly. But the quality is always there, the lyrics and the humanity he exudes send me into a wonderful place. He´s Such a special Man.
Download link in the description.
The link doesn't work :'(
@@teklados hi! I just come across this video and I can't find the recording anywhere else in the internet, is there any chance you could update the download link, this album's really amazing!
love
I love the Prince.
Whoa! Thanks for posting this. Maybe he'll release it on CD sometime soon...
Almost definitely will be out someday.
@@teklados still waiting :-)
Wow. Bertrand, my son made me cry
one of maybe 140 humans alive today
couldn't say it better myself. agreed bud
I see your point, i get it there's only one Dylan. I simply meant the pure wealth/# of songs each artist has accumulated in relative time frames. I'm hard put to choose another modern song writer who can compare...thx for replying
The video to this freaks me out a bit tbh 😆😅 I love the tune tho 🤗😆
The 1st installment of this is here on YT...

Thanks Tek Lados for part II.
This is such a great upload thanks! May I supplement your recommendation with the 'Ease Down the Road' LP
Thanks for the recc., dude! Pretty good stuff.
Those two and Master and Everyone are my favorite of his LP's
ok, ok...subsrcibing. put down the butterknife.
Such a great tape!
The song "You Can Like It" seems to be a demo for the "The Pieces of
Shit" (=Bonnie & David Byrne) song of the same title (ruclips.net/video/GlTNxikOsgA/видео.html) feat. Michael Brunnock, produced for the "This Must Be the Place" Soundtrack.
instead of ten Albums, one good one would be enough
good thing you stumbled upon this album! even so, I'm happy that he's so prolific. certainly, there are some duds in his catalogue, but I don't think it discounts the incredible work he has done
this man can be be brilliant and as boring as well.
also the man behind the iconic 'spiderland' photograph
I put one into eBay ✨🙌🏼✨ grab it!
🌱🌾💙😀
Hi, where can I purchase this?
