I have a 2006 Caliber SXT with Sport Package in Sunburst Orange. 2.0 TDI from VW with 140 horsepower, 6-speed-manual, 45 mpg on Highway. Currently 120,000 km/75.000 miles. Unfortunately, it had severe rust problems on the suspension and chassis because the previous owner always parked it on wet grass. Okay, a Caliber is not a perfect car, but it is very personable and very pleasant to drive. I love it. For this reason and because of the comparatively low mileage, I am having it repaired.
Yup, you don't have to downshift to accelerate, the little bastard pulls like a bull. You can annoy a lot of other drivers on the highway. 6th gear and pedal to the metal 😂
I have the identical type of the car. A question is the diesel-like sound of the engine ok? 'Cause i have the same sound. In 2017 i got 2.0 version and i could hear the engine sounded much smoother than 1.8

And the srt4 version 2.4 300hp... no coments🏁🤩
I love my CRD. Sometimes my mother drives him, she calls him "fighting pig" 😅😅😅

I would have been nervous to floor a Dodge engine for that long.

So what? Did you know that the Mercedes E Class W211 had a plastic steering wheel in some markets?
