However, to be noted that "Dewi Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple" is the correct name and the reason why Amma is facing towards the left is unknown. I believe that she is the only one who can clarify this, nobody else. It is only a 'maybe' that she is facing to the side because of the crematorium.
