- Experimenting with some Hendrix tones....the preset is called Summer of Jimi. Might have tweaked it a bit but not much.

Wow!! Strat and rig sound amazing Jason! It’s funny that you and I were living parallel lives going through different gear. When I see your old posts and gear kept changing except for Dr Z and Suhr phase were pretty consistent! For me, kept guitars but kept adding till it was overwhelming! Very content to have Core 4 electrics for gigs! Clears the head! I’m figuring you seem at same point, content with and enjoying what you have rather than the chasing of the carrot🤪 Have my vintage Tele and Gretsch in shop so they will be utilized for gigs this Spring/Summer!! Thanks for sharing your journey and sharing your stellar playing skills! Very inspiring from one working class musician to another!
Thanks a lot Billy! Yes for sure! I’ve went though many phases of guitars, I’ve recently been getting back into 80’s type Floyd equipped guitars too. They’re fun. Getting pretty content with what I have too. 👌 ✌️

@@JasonHobbsGuitarist I plugged my Tone Master Pro into my Deluxe Reverb today for the first time set the EQ to a flat setting and played the EVH Wide setting through it, I was surprised how good it sounded. I think I need to get that Fender FR12 soon.

@@JasonHobbsGuitarist Mine is a 68 custom reissue with a Celestion 65 Creamback that speaker really makes a difference.

I had a axe fx II years ago and sold it. I’m an amp guy at heart. The TMP has opened my mind up for digital solutions again. I like the low volume recording and ease of use. Great unit. ✌️
This or the quad cortex? I don’t gig anymore and will sell all my pedals and tube amps. Just want all in one solutions. TIA
The fender Tone Master Pro all day. The easy learning curve, simplicity and great tones all around. I’ve had axe fx, Kemper and line 6… the Fender is the best imo. Hasn’t let me down yet.
