For the price it’s a nice bike my main complaint is the suspension. With the smaller tires the throttle is a little snappy. So the version with the full size tires might be better but it might be too tall as well.
I own the tm31x the streetlegal one. The oil drain is on the left bottom side for me in front of the shifter. My kick crank was set a whole notch off. So the bike would not start or run when I got it delivered. I thought it was carb problems. Which it has but runs now. I haven't replaced the carb and would love to get the exact one. Yours sounds more open and powerful than the stock. And if you have any tips on installing it that would be super helpful. I originally bought this bike because the templar x pros sold out and I was impatient. But so far mines not fully broken in and only has about 320 miles on it. I ride it to work on rodes and sometimes off road on trials I can find around. It's been an amazing bike thank you for your videos and inputs. It's helped me a lot with my journey on this bike.
I have been surprised with the bike. I think the engine will last. I got the nibbi carb, a link is in the description. I left the jets that came in the nibbi carb and tuned it with the air fuel mix screw to get it to run better. But you might can do that with the stock carb. If you look at the bottom side near the engine of the carb you should see what looks like a cap. You should be able to tell it’s a different color metal. If you drill that part out you will see the mix screw and you can adjust the stock carb. If you can’t find it let me know I can try to put a picture on the comment.
I ended up buying the new for '24 Trailmaster T5, which is a dual sport and has the full sized wheels (18" rear and 21" front). This bike is pretty nice, street legal, looks really good. It has the same 223cc Zongshen engine that your TM31 has, and this engine is pretty strong. I've read the engines are very good, but the rest of the bike is only so-so. Same with the T5 I got. It's nice overall, but the brakes aren't the strongest, the suspension so far is not bad (not too soft). I can't complain though since this T5 model was only 1699 plus tax. I got the bike already assembled so I paid 50 bucks for that. Also title and registration. So out the door for 2k even. But hey, it's not like a Japanese bike at all. I've had Japanese bikes all my life and they just feel so much more solid and smooth, plus they last forever with zero issues. I'm not expecting this Trailmaster to last forever, I just wanted to see what they're like and I'm liking it so far, especially for the cheap price. If you want to fix your suspension, I'm sure you could find a good replacement shock on amazon, and forks too if you need those. Anyway great video, enjoyed that!
Thanks for watching. It’s hard to beat the price on these bikes. But you are right the Japanese brands do feel better and last a long time. As time goes I wonder how long these bike will last. I think the engines will do fine but just like you said it’s all the other stuff that is so so.
Yeah so far it’s been reliable. You either have the drill out the air fuel screw in the stock carb or buy a nibbi carb . The nibbi should be in the description. Once you do that you can tune the carb to make it run better than the factory setting.
Thinking about this for my wifes first bike

Can’t find a ignition stator for this bike do you know where to get one that fits
I don’t really know much about this website but is this what you are looking for?
