- Luka Sabbat is one of the biggest names to have come out of New York’s streetwear scene. Today he is a well known model and actor, but in this video we’re going to be looking at how it all happened. We’ll talk about his early years in Paris, growing up around SoHo, how he became a model, his friendship with other members of the streetwear scene like Kerwin Frost, working with Virgil Abloh and Kanye West, his recent endeavors with Hot Mess and the world of acting, and so much more. This is the Luka Sabbat story.

It's crazy how many kids were hanging down on lower broadway on Saturdays that are now poppin...Luka, Heron, Kerwin, Theopolius London, Kid Cudi, Vashti, ASAP Mob, Virgil (i'm missing mad people..I know). So many people were just hanging out on the street kicking it with each other all day taking pics and going store to store. Unbelievable to see those kids take over fashion.

I think you're forgetting Tumblr. That's what launched most of these kids. They weren't all hanging in Soho because it was fun. Soho was just retail stores and restaurants. Most kids from NY didn't hang there. Tumblr kids hung out there because pics with Soho in the background got shared the most on Black and Hypebeast Tumblr.

Luka is a super sweet dude fr. A lot of people have preconceived notions about him because of his friends like Kendall and him being a model - but hes still had his own struggles with drugs and going to Rehab in High School.
One of the most easygoing celebs Ive gotten to talk to more than once.
Rehab typically goes for 14K to 27K and you think he struggled😂 you gotta be 15

Rihanna has been on the cover of vogue and has worked for designers doesnt make her model because she isn't. Luka physically isnt a model he's mad short for one and two any opportunities he has gotten has been due to nepotism. The guy is an influencer not a model. As I said before you dont know what a model is if you did you would be able to see that luka is an influencer and not a model
