- Learn how to put two ends of yarn together using the Russian Join method. It's pretty straight forward with extra tips for people like me who have dexterity issues with their hands.
Great tutorial. I especially like the way you took your time and did a real time video showing it takes a little bit of time to have a beautiful end product.
Brilliant! Thanks!!
Excellent!!!! Thank you!!!!
I gotta try this.
Wow! I need to try this! Do not like join knots in my work. Thank you, Mikey! 🎩💖✨

Thank you! making a color pooled blanket and I would have a TON of knots had you not posted this. Much appreciated!
Great tutorial, I love this method and the more you practice the easier it gets! I use a stitch marker for the loop.
Fantastic thanks take a couple minutes well worth it
Wow amazing. Gotta try
My favorite way to join. Great video ❤
Oh my gosh, a perfect tutorial on how to show us what to do. I’ve done this a few times and I did it totally wrong I had no idea you went into the same yarn in the beginning!! Can’t wait to try this!
Love this. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
This is beyond cool!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks, Mikey. This is brilliant.
Perfecto!!!! Mil gracias maestro!!!😘🇲🇽🧡
Sooo cool!!!
Amazing 🎉
Love it! Thanks so much.
I use this method a lot, but instead of using something like the keyring, I place the second yarn (orange) through the loop (blue) before pulling the first side then do the second side. You can also use the first part of this method when starting a new project (ie your blue side) and then you have no end to weave in later. Hope this makes sense.
So in your professional opinion, is this as secure and long lasting as a knot join with the ends woven in? Because if it is, despite it being a bit fiddley to do, if it saved me from weaving in ends... I am cautiously ecstatic. 😮 And will it work with blown yarns too?
Would you still have to use a Russian join if you were not in a hurry?
Wow! Whodathunkit!!
