Permit me to disagree. It's fun and creative. Not just another muscle-man.
Zom, being an immensely powerful supernatural entity doesn't really have a single design or image. The essence of Zom could take on many forms. The grotesque, hairy version of him was just one depiction in the classics.
Bring back how to unalive superheroes, please! There are so many good ones still left out there.

The scary part is that Zom is probably even more powerful than we have ever seen. His handicap from the literal metal hand caps are stopping hand movements, locking him out of a good chunk of somatic component spells.
I think if they re introduced him he would need a bit of a re design like maybe keep his metal gloves and say that they stop him from using his full power

It would be interesting to see Current Galactus face off against Zom, I mean the LT was actually afraid of the damage that Galactus would cause and felt fear, I don't think Zom would stomp current Galactus but he could probably defeat him.

He's supposed to be one of the strongest mystical entities in existence. I think his terrible design makes him look less intimidating than someone like Dormammu, who Zom is somehow stronger than.

I once said that the only way to incorporate these OP comic characters into the mcu is basically name drops our Easter eggs. Something that confirms their existence without actually introducing them.
Now that I think on it though I think one could introduce them if they chose to use the Trevor slaterly method. Basically pull a Mandarin. Intrusive them but its not the true them. Maybe an extension of their will or a copy cat. Maybe pull a Mysterio. Illusions and trickery

In my quest to read every DR Strange comic, I remember these early issues and thought this would never work in MCU. I agree with all your logic on this one! Most of the good doctors rouges and one offs are hard to translate to the MCU. Fingers crossed for Nightmare or Clea...

Hey I have a question that's a little hard to frame. I remember when I first started watching robs videos a couple years ago I didn't realize just how many comics and lore publishers like dc and marvel have accumulated. So when rob would mention comics he hadn't read or characters he forgot I'd think wtf I thought you were The comic book guy. Since then I've heard a couple facts like how wolverine had appeared in over 3000 comics(don't quote me on that) that gave me more perspective. So I guess I'm asking just how hard is it to have read all the major arcs of all the major characters.

From the pages you showed it seems like Zom was made to fight the Living Tribunal. Zom being the imbalance to the LT's balance.
Question: Could the Ivory Kings defeat Zom? Love the channel. I only ask because they defeated the Living Tribunal. If the answer is yes, then Doom can also defeat him...with the powers of the Ivory Kings of course.
Technically he’s imprisoned by the combined might of Dr. Strange & The Living Tribunal, though Strange didn’t contribute much, so Dormammu could’ve just invoked Eternity after getting his butt kicked & Eternity casually defeated him like the Tribunal did. We don’t know about that fight so it’s impossible to scale him. He could be weaker than Galactus or stronger than Lord Chaos we don’t know

How do we figure out that Zom is nigh omnipotent from that one fight? Like yeah Strange is powerful, but Zom just swings around his fists and crushes rocks. How does that imply he can vaporize the multiverse by lifting a finger? If Zom only cares about destruction, why didn’t he immediately vaporize the multiverse the moment Strange released him?

I'm wondering that when The one below got free through the Hulk x started obliterating everything where Doctor Strange came to the point where he had to free Zom to beat him but was destroyed by the one below all like everyone. It just makes me look at the MCU currently and seeing how ppl think that Thanos was the worst that it could get and seeing how " They Ain't Ready" for what comes nxt

You say that Zom is like the most powerful being in the multiverse but second only to the Living Tribunal, even though the Beyonders and Chaos king are way more powerful than the Living Tribunal and Zom and Classic Doctor Strange combined.
I can see a way if the mcu had Starbrand since the full power of the Starbrand was able to adapt to the beyonders (who did kill the Living Tribunal) so i think the same can be done with Zom. It would kill Starbrand but Zom would be dealt with

You know with the current story line of Galactus taking on all the mystic beams, even the ones that have stood up to the Living Tribunal, I think that Galactus could beat him.
Also about why the Living Tribunal wanted to destroy the earth. During the battle with Zom a lot of his magical energy leaked into our world and upset the balance between light a d dark magic. The Living Tribunal wanted to destroy the earth before an army of evil wizards arose, but Dr. Strange said he would gather the dark magic nefore that happened.

theres much about the context of Zom that makes him hard to identify. To be honest, after you told the story of thanos taking on the one above all, you mentioned the norm. Is Zom from outside the Norm? Could you do a video of what is outside of the norm? wouldnt that fill in some context for Zom and other obscure characters??
The last two Avengers movies could have been avoided with Squirrl Girl. I'm sure she could easily beat Zom too.

Zom has already been powered scaled many times for him to be any real threat IMO. I mean the marquee of death himself is on a level where he can just call out cosmic aspects of the marvel universe to fight for him as if its nothing. Zom was big in his day but not anymore.
